I've loved playing the game Planet Coaster... for the in depth simulation, for the beautifully rendered graphics, and especially, for the music. Normally in most games I play on the PC, I turn the music off - it's annoying and detracts from the moment created by the ambience of the games soundscape.
But not so with Planet Coaster.
I was pleased to find the album on Amazon, and like another reviewer had stated, I too get choked up listening to this music. Within it, is captured a sense of light, and playfulness... a hearkening back to a period of innocence and the sheer exuberance of childhood play. The music is never moody, yet it captures a joyful mood. It does not tell you what to feel, yet it brings about (for me) a rush of emotion and feelings that manifest as tears. The music is not sad, it is promise and possibility rolled into song. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
