If you like word games, you’re gonna love So You Think You Know Words! It’s the great new word game that’s truly all about words. Puzzles made by a New York Times Crossword Puzzle builder.
Playing is simple: find three answers for each clue. Take all the time you need – there’s no timer, no scorecard, and no penalty for wrong guesses. Sounds easy, right? Think again! There are some real zingers in there! A little like crossword puzzles, but without those fussy grids.
I found this game to be difficult if not impossible to play. The clues are the titles of the puzzle you select and they are not very explicit and the words you are looking for can be up to 9 letters long. (My experience so far). There is no scoring or time system for a game and that is because it is so hard to play that you would get frustrated faster. There is a hint button but it only gives you one letter which is almost no help at all when it falls in the middle of a 9 character word.
I can't believe all of these 5 star reviews. This game is not fun and it is far too difficult to enjoy. I don't care for it at all and it is already in the cloud and off my Kindle Fire.
I asked the developer why he posted a five star review of his own game and he removed it. I then received a negative vote. Don't believe all the five star reviews. Some are fake to drive up the game's ratings and they are still being posted.
I am amused at some of these awful reviews. Clearly many people simply don't understand it. Part of the puzzle is solving how the title relates to the answers. This is not hard to do once you get started. There is nothing abstract about it. They relate, always. You are given all the letters you need to solve all three answers, and you do get a hint, you can get one letter revealed for each puzzle. Those of you who think there are padded reviews, proof please.
Fun and yet it gets the brain working! I like the different categories. I definitely like that I can go back to the ones that I haven't finished, so that I can complete them. Good job developers! We look forward to more categories!
