Exactly what I wanted: automatic timed window candles
When I ordered these LED candles I didn't read the reviews very thoroughly and I was confused how the timer worked when I received them. Some of the reviews state that these do not have a timer. This is wrong, they do have a timer and it works based on the time you turned it on. So I turned all six on at 7pm and they have lit up every evening since. They are exactly what I wanted and work great so far. The 'frequently purchased with' window suction cups I ordered for these are terrible but they work as long as you don't touch, breath, or look at them.

    These are so pretty and I love the timer function. I actually painted one of them red for Christmas and it’s gorgeous. They don’t advertise that it’s paintable but it is. The flicker motion is a nice touch.

    Although the candles are tapers and should fit, the bottom has a serrated edge to aid in gripping the switch. This small feature is just too large for the candle holders. I had to purchase some wooden ones and then sand the inside a bit bigger in order for the candles to fit. That was disappointing as I had another purpose in mind. That said, these candles are beautiful when lit. The flame flickers and looks more realistic than most. The timer is an excellent feature. Now that I know how to work around the size issue, I'll purchase more of these candles and the wooden holders. The holders are unfinished so I can paint/stain/craft/whatever I want for the season.

    They are pretty but I can't get them to stay up straight in any candle holders I have.
    Also the way they turn on and off is sooo cheap, the batteries fall out!

    I love these candles. The only reason I gave them a 4 instead of a 5 is that they got wet and stopped working until they dried out. But once dry, they worked fine again. I have them outside in glass globe candle holders and they come on every night at the time I set them for. They are just perfect for giving my backyard a romantic, soft, flickering touch. (I covered my glass globes with plastic to keep the rain out and that solved my issue.)

    All function well. The timer seems pretty accurate. Still on the first set of batteries at 3 months! They've dimmed considerably but still are bright enough for ambience. Will order more!

    I used this for Halloween/Fall to put in my windows. The candles do flicker and they are orange but not bright. There is no remote to these. After you put the 2 (AA) batteries in you turn the bottom to the right as if to close the bottom part then back to the left then back to right to tighten. When you do this you’ve set the timer. That will now be the time your candles will come on. They sit by themselves without a candle holder. However I was afraid they would fall so I used Loctite fun-tax (it’s blue) I put it on the bottom of the candle and pressed down on my window sill. No worries now and no marks left behind.

    First day using them. Let’s see how the timer thing works. They look so pretty! They’re pretty steady and stand in heir own in the window or you can put little double tape. Worth every penny
