I've loved all the guys of Willow Creek. After reading In Your Heart it's safe to say that Ezra stole my heart. Sadie and Ezra have been best friends for years. Yet Sadie has distanced herself from Ezra at the request of her fiance. She turns to him when she learns he's cheating on her weeks before their wedding. Having no where else to go Sadie moves into Ezra's house just wanting to rebuild her life. Yet she finds it increasingly hard to fight her attraction to her best friend. I thought these characters were so much fun. I'm excited to read Hayes story next.

Wow!!! I have been wanting Sadie's story since book one after getting to know her in Last To Know and I must admit, I absolutely loved this book!

When Sadie finds he fiance cheating on her two weeks before the wedding, she ends up moving in with Ezra and things definitely get interesting. Sadie has always had a crush on Ezra, but being as though he's her best friend she never wanted to lose that with him.

Things definitely heat up between these two and I loved every second of Sadie and Ezra together, even if they were keeping it secret and things definitely got blurred between them. Ezra is the quiet one of the boys, he's not crazy and out going like Maddox, or dark and brooding like Mathias, he's the quiet one and the one that is always there for his friends. You can tell Ezra cares for Sadie, but like her, I wasn't sure how much he really cared for her. The party he threw for her to cheer her up, taking her off for their own little adventures, and just curling up and relaxing watching chick flicks. What is there not to love about Ezra?! Watching these two together you know they are meant to be together, just like Remy and Mathias, and Emma and Maddox. They just work, and when Ezra hurts Sadie she takes it a whole lot worse than when her jerk of an ex cheated on her.

This is a definite friends to lovers story, and I really wish these two would have talked about things more than they did, instead of just assuming. I think a lot of things could have been resolved sooner, but then again, where would the story have been if it was that easy? I loved Hayes in this book. We really didn't get to know much of him in previous books, and how open he was with Sadie and how he really understood the bond between Ezra and Sadie was amazing and I can't wait to read his story!

I have a truth to tell, I’m a hopeless romantic and when it comes to romance if you ask me to read a friends to lovers story I don’t even have to read the blurb and an immediate YES will quiver with excitement through my lips. State of Fact! When it came to In Your Heart; the third book in the Willow Creek series by Micalea Smeltzer releasing the air was lit with a dusk of anticipation because I had seen teasers that my romantic heart quickened for and the air was crisp with feelings. Diving in late night when I had to get up in the morning was never a plausible “brilliant mind” idea but you know bookworms can’t stay away when a book is calling and that’s exactly how I felt about In Your Heart.

The string of my heart strummed to the bassist of Ezra’s soul mesmerising lyrical heart when he reconnects with Sadie; his best friend whose in need after a devastating moment leads to locked bars and a questionable fated light of a future. The proximity of the friends-to-lovers romances mesmerise a who will hold back factor in breaking the line of equilibrium which playfully was enjoyable as Ezra guided friends but never more status beds deep into the roots of belief. However, in true wishful style Sadie & Ezra’s whirlwind buzzed connection shatters the notion that “best-friends but never more” is fated because the stallion of the rippled beat of bass breaks rules, maybe hearts? and leaves plenty of oohs and ahhs whilst reading!

The honesty in Micalea’s writing yet again radiated a breathless undying hold in my heart as the character dimensions premised with much depth, laughter and romance embedded deep. The Willow Creek band of brothers holds my heart and will forever be a family of love and support.

I love Ezra ahhhh. I love all the guys. They each have that special something about them even all the girls. I love all the funny jokes that they all have between them. Each one as their own silliness to them, and you can't help but laugh. I think at first both Sadie and Ezra are trying to fight their love and it's not just Ezra that's afraid to take the chance. Again like all the other books I read I hate when I get to the end I don't want it to be over already it's just so good. Ezra is so sweet and caring. He would do anything for Sadie. Sadie thinks she's the only one with the real feelings. I love how Ezra is there when Sadie gets all her stuff and just lets her cry when she takes out her wedding dress that she was supposed to wear. The best is when he helps her along with her best friend Emma and Maddox to bring all her stuff into his house, but keeps the box with the wedding dress so she doesn't have to see it and get upset again. To then turn around and have a bonfire and let her burn the dress. I love how when comments are made they both try to deny their love and constantly say there only friends nothing more especially when it's so obvious they really like each other more than that. Another favorite part of mine is how Sadie decides when out with Ezra one night, that she's going to have a few drinks to only get drunk and he has to help her in the house and carry her when they get home. She's so silly and Ezra keeps telling her to go to bed that she needs her sleep after making her drink lots of water and take some aspirin. Drinking the few drinks that she does makes her true feelings come out more and she becomes a rambler saying things that she would normally hold inside. Of course I can't wait to see what they all have in store next.Read more ›
