It has helped me a lot with my food choices and weight loss.
This is a nutrition course in a book. I used to not eat fruit because it hurt my tummy (IBS) now I eat it ALL THE TIME cause I know how:)
What food is the most perfect for humans?
What should you eat everyday?
Why is fruit so good for us?(Scientific answers here for people who want proof.)
I referenced it for years.
This book is worth buying just for the Food Rating Chart alone! Every food is rated in four categories: it edibility/delectability factor, its harmfulness (even many raw natural foods have a bit of toxin), its digestibility/assimilability, and it nutritive value. But it has much more to offer, including arguments for the vegetarian diet, tips on how to stop overeating and how to transition to a raw diet, an entire section on avocados, a food combining chart, fantastic recipes, and much more.
The book contains many tips that all people on a raw journey MUST know (such as the detriment of dried fruits on one's teeth) as well as many astonishing facts (such as a man who lived on only oranges for 6 years!). Every page contains interesting information that keeps the reader fully engaged.
