But then I got her cookbook, "Real, Fast Food" on my Kindle app and saw how simple her recipes were. The value of actually knowing what you're eating began to sink in.
When I got extremely frustrated with my skin, after years of fighting acne with various pills and creams, my M.D. dad suggested I try adding "good fats" to my diet as an experiment. I immediately thought of this book and ordered a paperback copy. I am so glad I did!
I read it cover-to-cover in just a couple of days and everything began to add up. Trina debunks some nutritional myths in a simple, non-overwhelming way. The format of the book is almost like a nice magazine, and you it is quick and easy to navigate. There are photos, recipes and all the basic information you need for launching out on your real food journey.
I'm really excited to continue learning from this book as I do my own research and implementing her ideas. My skin has already started to clear a little (knock on wood) and my stomach feels great. I have so much more to learn and try, but this book makes me EXCITED to try new things. Highly recommended, especially the paperback version.
