Rubi has just received news that her marriage really never was. She's been waiting for a man that was never to come. She's in need of a man to make up for lost time! The first person she sees is Nathan. But she's heard the rumors about this beautiful man. Why can't she meet someone that is available?
When Nathan confronts Rubi with the rumors she's heard, he's bound and determined to prove her wrong. He abducts her and takes her back to the lodge where they met at Dane and Eloise's wedding. Once there, they are in the same haunted room as the other couples were lodged previously. The ghosts that haunt that room, once again, make themselves known. CREEPY!! Rubi is scared out of her wits and Nathan is there to comfort her-and of course prove the rumors are wrong. But he reveals there is a secret that could have a disastrous effect on the budding relationship with Rubi. What is it and why is he afraid to tell her??
I enjoyed reading this third installment. The romantic story woven around the ghosts keeps you on your toes! I wanted to see what Nathan caught on film! I could feel the struggles of both characters-although I didn't understand it at times. I have to say that Nathan quickly proved to me he wasn't gay, so I didn't get why Rubi had such a hard time with it. She also threw it in his face a number of times that I felt just didn't click with her character. There was also some behavior by Nathan that had me scratching my head. He seemed to have a hot temper at times. We don't know what caused him to have such a short fuse and I think it would've helped to know. It didn't fit.
That being said, I did like the story and I loved finding out more about these ghosts! The stage was also set for book four-Paul and Lisa's book, and finding out more about these ghosts! I look forward to that to release!

I was gifted a copy of this book by the author for the express purpose of an honest review for the Jeep Diva Blog. The rating and review are solely my opinion and in no way was I compensated.
As always Maggie Tideswell, has woven another beautifully romantic story with enough paranormal thrown in to keep the reader wanting more (I would have loved to see those photos !). With beautifully developed characters the reader will be drawn thoroughly into its fast pace, pain, and happiness.
With plenty of twists thrown in, the reader will be on the edge of their seat trying to figure out where they are going to be led next.
If you have enjoyed the first two stores in this series, I can guarantee you will want to read this instalment.
