Not so at all! Yes, the writing style is conversational, however you cannot miss the huge nuggets, rather boulders of truths and insights that stay with you and rock your day as you make decisions with these in mind. This book is worthy and perfect for the seeker as well as the seasoned person of deep faith. It reads as a cup of tea on the first go around, but becomes a double shot of espresso when one allows the writer's discernment to wash over your heart and mind. A great gift idea too! Pick up a few while you are at it.
