Can't Use It, But It's My Own Fault!
on January 26, 2015
I wanted to be able to wear this watch in my WW2 re-enacting uniforms. Besides the huge "DIGU" on the face, it looked more like a 1940s style watch than any other modern watch I have been able to find. However, it didn't dawn on me to look carefully at the case measurement (1.75"), so it's my own fault that I ended up with an over-sized clown watch today when it arrived. If that's the type of watch you're looking for, it's actually pretty nice.
I've worn it three or four times over the past three months since I got it, and it has been fine, even with the ridiculous face size. However, yesterday the temperature here in Las Vegas finally jumped to pre-summer levels of 105°F and my wrist started sweating. This caused condensation to form on the underside of this water-resistant watch, proving that the seals are no good. Therefore, I would not recommend wearing around moisture.
