Ok, so the new xyz monsters on out with this deck and they are awesome looking and a HUGE boost to your deck (especially warrior decks). The traps in this deck are just outrageous for a starter deck and the deck isn't bad itself. If you don't play yugioh, here's the best chance you have to start learning the basics while not getting outrageously owned by other players (because honestly, you can last at least 3 turns against tier 2 decks). I give it 5/5 overall.

For a starter deck this is really fun to play. it actually works really well to summon the new xyz monters (pronounced: 'ik-seez' yeah it's weird). this is also the only place to find the popular new card No.39 Utopia and it comes with a common mirror force which is great! a good deck for those starting out in the game and fun for veteran players ready to try out the new xyz monsters

Our 15 yr. old son got the Dawn of the Xyz for his 8 yr. little sister who is 8. She believes it's perfect for anyone who wants to start playing the game.

The box comes with a beginner pamphlet which is easy to comprehend and uses the cards in the deck as examples. The deck itself is very well balanced and it consist mostly of weaker, warrior type monsters which can be used to summon XYZ monsters. It also has great cards like Mirror Force and Gene-Warped Warwolf, a level 4 normal monster with 2000 atk points. The true power of this deck however comes from the three included XYZ monsters.

The deck is easy to use, and constabulary strong considering it is for beginners and encourages adding cards to personalize the deck to your own preference. Overall, this deck is good for beginners, or experienced players who want strong cards.

A Kid's Review on October 27, 2011
Great deck for anyone interested in Yugioh, Easy and simple for beginners, yet it has great ways to bring out more than one monster a turn. I have been collecting cards since I was 4 or 5 and now I'm almost 13 and I know what good cards are. This is a very good deck to combine to with the God Cards because of the double summoning so it helps give you monsters to sacrifice. Beginner or Expert, get this deck!!!

This deck is not bad, and has some good cards. Included are 3 new XYZ monsters. While I was able to summon all three in one duel, it all depends on the situation while the main one (cover of the deck, Rank 4 monster) is good for any situation. I enjoyed using this card and can't wait to see them become incorporated into the video games. They are much more easier and faster to summon than Synchro monsters. You won't be disappointed with this deck, especially for under $10.
