I'm 6" 175lbs and this hammock is very comfy. The included hardware to hang the hammock was decent but I replaced it with whoopie sligns and tree straps.
This hammock does not come with any way to attach it to a tree.
I would also suggest buying a spray bottle of Permethrin to treat the hammock if mosquitos are a concerns. The screen will keep them out of the top but they can still bite you through the fabric below. The permethrin will prevent that.
Two hammocks are almost two years old and I just bought another recently for my youngest son.
What I like most is that these hammocks are of good quality and the cost is very reasonable.
We have slept in the hot woods while the bugs were out in force and in the freezing cold during thundersnow conditions.
We slept through the night and felt refreshed in the morning.
As stated in prior reviews, the attachment equipment is heavy but is very dependable.
I'm a bit on the heavy side and the hammock and attachments were great.
If you are trying to go ultralight, you will need to swap the attachments for whoopie slings but that's not a huge cost.
About the only slightly annoying thing about this hammock is the shock cord that comes with it to raise the bug net.
It is too short to go around trees that are average distance apart which means you are attaching the shock cord to your attachment equipment…this makes the bug net fold/sag in the middle (down the axis).
You can use a branch as a spreader or get longer shock cord.
DO NOT replace the shock cord with parachute cord or any other non-stretch cord.
If you end up stretching the bug net too far it will rip the tabs.
I use cheap ratchet straps for tree straps.
$10 dollars for a set of four 12' straps.
Cut of the metal hooks to save weight but you'll need to know your knots :-)
As for the height, I am 5'10" and sleeping off axis provides a lot of space at my head and heels.
I can usually store extra clothes and such without any issues.
This is a single hammock so you can’t have deep sag like a double hammock.Read more ›
Update: I have hung this recently and it hangs very easy. The mosquito netting is easy to hang as well. Even my 220 lb frame didn't phase this hammock or the straps that I used to hang it. The full zipper enclosure is easy to operate while inside or outside of the hammock. As far as hammocks go, it is very comfortable to lay in, keeps you off the ground and keeps little annoying bugs off you while you sleep. I gave this a five star rating based on the quality of the hammock, its overall weight, and its compact size making it a huge space saver.
Typical of most low price hammocks in that it comes with heavy suspension that needs to be changed out to reduce the weight.
Excellent price for a entry level hammock with a bug net. Similar to Grand Trunk Skeeter Beeter Hammock.
Main downside to this hammock is that it is designed for short people ( about 5.5 ft). At 6 ft 2 this hammock is way too short for me.
If you are looking for an budget hammock for the kids then this is a good deal.

My son and I absolutely love this hammock! 4 stars, only because one of the netting loops ripped off the first day and wasn't really week attached in the first place. Read morePublished 3 days ago by robyn ekroot
