I used my Canon 80D with a battery grip and variety of lens on it. And with all of that I could still confidently walk away from it without worrying it would fall over. Even when I attached audio equipment it still stayed very steady.
The fluid pan head has a quick release plate. The fluid pan head motion on x and y plane is very smooth. The overall build does not feel cheap.

It probably wouldn't stand the strain of a daily beating from a professional but, for occasional use from us amateurs, it's excellent value. . If you need a Support when using the extra long zoom on the new range of bridge cameras , this is a great solution.
I will add more after we have used this for a while, but, on first impressions, it looks good.
The product I received was fairly solidly built, there was a lot of play in the feet, but it worked ok. The problem lies in the head and the base. This monopod is designed to support a DSLR for taking video. If you are taking video it implies there is a sound track. The head has some friction built into it to simulate fluid movement when panning. However the base has an element in it which should have greater friction than the head and therefore remain fixed. It doesn't. What happens when you pan around is the head remains fixed and the column rotates in the base making a grinding noise with vibrations which can be picked up by the sensitive microphone you are using. The only way I could overcome this was to unscrew the base a little so that it did not make a noise. The screws on the head that should control the friction ranging from none to some, did not make a big difference, they could lock the head in position, but not completely free it to rotate with little effort.
If you are using this purely for photography with no video it is solidly built and should perform well. If you are using it with video I would look elsewhere. It is a shame that the manufacturers and supply chain are compelled to make their volumes purely based on price. I personally would have been willing to pay 2x and have one that worked as designed. It would still compete with the higher range products from Manfrotto and others. As for mine, I have returned it; Not fit for purpose.
A great feature which I absolutely love with this monopod is you can unscrew the head AND the tripod legs from the main extendable pole. Then you can screw the head and small tripod legs together and have a small table-top tripod which is fantastic!! See my photos!
One thing to note though. When I bought this it was branded as a 'Yunteng 288 Monopod'. Now it seems to be a Andoer VCT-288. Most likely the exact same product though (looks the same in the pictures) as all these cheaper brands use the same factory for their production and just order so many and slap there name on the side :)
I'll be uploading a video to YT on this monopod so have look there for RedReviewz and keep an eye out. You may aswel subscribe while your there too because you're nice like that, ain't ya? :D
They are reasonably stable, however there is quite a bit of give in the feet and at the base joint, this makes it a bit unstable and I'm constantly checking that they're not about to fall over.
The monopod itself is sturdy and solid, and the fluid head is just unbelievably good for its price point.
Furthermore, the fluid head is removable so I can easily screw it off and use it on my slider, no problem.
Really happy with this product, absolutely recommended!
The monopod and tri-foot aren't that good, but the fluid head is very very acceptable!
If you're starting off, this is a great buy!
