Coconut Macaroons

Ingredients

5 1/2 cups sweetened flaked coconut (gently packed)
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
2-3 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions

Heat the oven to 325 F/165 C
Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper or greased foil.
In a bowl, combine the coconut, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract; blend well.
Drop spoonful sized mounds of the coconut mixture onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving about 1 1/2 inches between the cookies.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned around the edges. Remove the cookies and place on a rack to cool.

Propylene glycol is the number 4 ingredient. I did not check ingredients, assumed it was just coconut! Then there's sugar, water, the propylene glycol, wheat. If you just want coconut, this is not your product.

If you are expecting the bakers brand type coconut this will disappoint several ways these are so thin and the bite terrible. The taste is weak with no burst of nuttiness. I will mix into cowboy cookies but this b tea no will not be near my German chocolate cake frosting. Very large bag and I will find a use but seriously can’t imagine ordering again. Wish I could give great review as I usually love everything Canadian!
