My first pair of these was INDESTRUCTIBLE. I absolutely loved them. Sound was awesome, they felt good, looked good and I liked the round the neck loop. But eventually they did die. By then Zagg had discontinued them, so they were harder to find but I did. Those didn't last all that long due to an accident on my part. Ok. Third pair which was like the last pair on the planet apparently, was nowhere near as durable. Really disappointing. Sound wasn't as good either. I've since moved on to bluetooth. Wired phones are simply too fragile and cumbersome. Spend a bit more money and get quality BT phones.

I'm pretty new to using earbuds, so take this review for what it's worth to you. That said, I really like these and I think they're well worth the price.

I love the way they wrap around your neck so you can walk around wearing them and just plug yourself back in without having to fiddle with anything. They're so comfortable in my ears I've honestly had moments when I've forgotten whether or not they're in. They're surprisingly good at damping external noise. I'm not such an audiophile as to be able to give a nuanced review of the sound quality: suffice it to say that it sounds great to me.

My main concern was how strong the wires would be; how it would stand up to stress at the weak spots (the ends of the wires at the connector end and the earbud end, where it's going to be under constant stress from bending and pulling. It's perfect! That invisible shield coating really strengthens them. It also makes them easy to untangle when you've been carrying them around in your purse.

Lest I start sounding like a commercial, I'll point out some drawbacks: I wish there was a greater spectrum to the volume control. The wires are sort of stiff, perhaps from the coating; after some use, they get twisted and sort of curly, and never straighten out, so that sometimes when you put the buds in your ears, the wires sort of bow outward.

Overall, I'm quite excited about these and have recommend them to several people.

I want to preface with this: I am the person that will go through a pair of headphones in 6 months. My first pair (as I had to purchase this pair as a replacement to those) lasted me four years.

I also want to say I only use these for music and music control, so some of the other thing they have to offer really didn't come into play for my review, but I'll hit them anyways.

Like I said, the sound is great! Downside to that is that I have large ears (that, or the buds they have are all small) and as such, I had a hard time with them staying in. However, this was an easy fix with sugru, which made this form-fitted to my ears. For the average person, I'm sure the in-box buds will work fine.

The mic works great. I usually keep the cord under my shirt as to prevent it from snagging on stuff (door handles are the devil for headphone cords) and people could still hear me crystal clear through two layers of cloth.

The button to control music never gave out, and remained nice and clicky just as if it was new.

However, the volume slider is a tad loose. It was the first thing to fail on my first pair after a year. Any quick up and/or down motion made the slider slide down on its own. I ended up taping it so it would stay in place. But, again, the play/pause button stayed working, so it didn't bother me at all.

The coating is GREAT. I only had them tangle on my about five times to the point of needing to set them down and untangle them in the four years I had my first pair.

I had to replace my first set because the wire on my first set broke (opened) near the plug end. It was my fault because I was putting a stressful bend in it when I put my iPhone in my front jeans pants pocket, and rode a bicycle to work 3 miles a work week. The constant stress finally caused the wire to wear through. I'm being more careful about keeping the stress off the wire now. It lasted about 2 years under that abuse; I'm confident the new pair will last longer. I like the in-ear design because i just can't keep buds in my ears without them falling out. The fidelity is very good, and they have a very smart design. I especially like using it to make phone calls, but I mostly use them to listen to music during the bicycle commute to and from work.

When I purchased these earbuds I was drawn to the wrap around feature and the built in microphone. I have not been disappointed. The volume slider easily changing the volume was annoying. But a piece of black electrical tape over the slider where the volume is around 80% of maximum, fixed that annoyance. I have been pleased with the quality and durability of these earbuds. I did have a issue with a wire coming loose. A quick trip to the Zagg website to check on the warranty had my replacement earbuds on the way the next day. I would recommend these to anyone who wishes to be able to listen to music, answer the phone, and keep you earbuds secured around your neck.

I have purchased a total of four sets of these awesome ZaggBuds, one for each family member. They sound great and are very durable. We've had not one problem with any of them, plus they all still look brand new even after months of daily use. They come with a carry case and different sizes of ear fittings so that you get a great fit with little to no outside noise interference. They have got to be the best pair of earbuds I've ever owned, we use these waaay more often than the Beats Audio buds and over the ear headphones that we currently own. I'm not sure we'll ever go back. Try 'em out! You'll love 'em!!!

I'm used to headphones being easy to put in, and then slowly working their way out as I walk, or falling out as soon as I turn my head. These are quite the opposite. They are a bit of a faff to put on - putting them over your head, then trying to find what happened to the ear pieces - but one they are in, they stay in.
The one thing that lets these down is the volume control - it is very easy to knock and mute whatever you have on. I can't say I purposefully use the volume control much, and would actually prefer a forward/back switch instead. For now, I just need to get around to wrapping something around the volume control to fix it in place...
