So far very smooth performance

I just changed my oil on my 2018 Honda Civic Si with the 1.5L turbocharged GDI engine. The last oil change was with Indemitsu 0W20, I was going to go with Amsoil 0W20, but heard and read a lot about Zepro Eco Medalist. It is literally half the price of Amsoil, both are Dexos 1 approved and both engine oils combat LSPI, an issue that can occur with downsized turbocharged GDI engines.

I can tell you that after the oil change I now have a much smoother engine, both at normal, high rpm and idle. I plan to beat this oil really hard, I will be doing multiple drives between Northern and Southern California (360 miles each way) which is a very harsh drive, especially in the summer months and after my next oil change I will be sending a sample to an oil lab for analysis to see how it actually holds up.

At $28 for 5 quarts of premium synthetic oil, you can't beat the price

I own a 2013 Subaru Outback 2.5. Engine oil has been changed every 5k. I have been changing my own oil after the warranty expired a few years ago. I have always noticed a faint timing chain noise/slap a few seconds after startup. I have also heard the same noise from other FB25 engines. This oil completely eliminated the startup noise along with a Mazda RX8 oem filter (same as the old factory Japan-made Tokyo Roki filters). I also noticed a slight uptick in MPGs too. Feel like the engine is louder...

I decided to use this in a VW 1.4T because "official VW oil" is $30 more for some certification that's more related to if the oil can go 10K miles while maintaining a certain level of protection. I change my oil at 5K because that's what I want to do. The oil that was in the car was the VW 508 00 Castrol 0W20. I used a VW filter and this oil and I swear to the mother Mary and her baby Jesus the engine is louder. I remember sitting at stop lights not hearing my engine at all, and now I do. Perhaps my ears mysteriously unclogged or something. Perhaps my dog licking them made me hear better? I don't know. But it as me worried, if I'm honest. Hopefully it's just all in my head because oil level is fine.

The ZEPRO oil is just a few dollars more expensive than the Mobile 1 and totally worth it, if not just to save me a trip to the brick-and-mortar. This is solid stuff and I plan to continue using this in the future.

Since the fuel tank takes about 14 gallons at each refueling after the pump icon lights up, that's 14 more miles than with Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy synthetic.
