I bought this rice cooker for close to 900 dollars and I wanted to invest in a rice cooker and use it for a long time. The rice cooker has many great functions and makes great rice. However, the internal pot is made of very poor quality. Attached please see the photo I uploaded. I made the purchase in May of 2019 and by December of 2019 after 4-5 months of usage it has already started peeling. As a result, the rice I made after the pot started peeling is often burnt in the bottom, leaving the bottom of the rice inedible. I wrote to the seller in December and as of today, I have not heard back from them (it's been 2 months). Dear seller, if you are reading this, please take the time to respond.
I have purchase Zojirushi equipments for many years and this is the first time that it has happened. This model in my opinion makes better rice than my rice cooker from the same brand that cost about 200-300USD but they have lasted for years. Almost all the items from this brand are meant to last for years and this is the most expensive item I have purchased so far and I am very disappointed that the pot internally started peeling after 5-6 months. In addition, I tried looking to see how I can replace the internal pot and it appears to be very very expensive.

毎日使用しておりましたが、毎日の手入れ時
本体の内蓋をセットする周辺に亀裂を発見しました。
亀裂の部位から、外からの衝撃ではなく、内側からの圧力によるものかと推測しています。
（特急炊きをよく使用していたからかもしれません）
高温で圧力のかかる機器ですし、万が一何か事故があっても怖いので、カスタマーサービスへ相談しようと思います。

カスタマーサービスに電話し、まずは点検してもらうこととなりました。
点検のための配達料が、Amazon購入の場合は一部購入者負担になるそうで、その点少し残念に思いました。
（追記２）
部品を交換頂き返却されました。
原因などについては特にコメントありませんでした。
今後同じことが起きないことを祈ります。
