I installed this on my boat a few days ago right after install my new Ultrex TM. I hooked up the batteries and cut power from the breaker to the trolling motor and plugged in the charger to charge the batteries. Getting ready to head to the lake, I unplug the charger and try to power up the TM. It is broken. The switch on the circuit breaker feels like it isn’t even connected to anything. I push the reset- same thing. . Everything is just like random loose parts not connected to anything.

Using to Turn On or Off/Protect Solar Controller Board Components from Over Current Conditions

Using 2 of these between my Solar Charge Controller and my storage battery, one on the positive and one on the negative leads. I know I only need to use one for protection, but it seems to be easier to wire my controller board using 10 gauge wire if I use 2 breakers. I like these very much and would have rated them 5 stars, but I didn’t anticipate the additional space that would be required to slide the screw on protective caps back to tighten the set screws. There is no hole in the cap, so the set screw must be tightened onto the wire before the plastic cap can be slid over and screwed in place. Also, the Allen head set screw seems to be an awkward size. I had a hard time finding an Allen Wrench that would fit. Would be nice if an Allen wrench would be provided with the breaker. Knowing what I know now I would still purchase this breaker/switch, but I would drill my holes in my controller panel for my wires further away from each one I install.

I bought this circuit breaker for the landing jacks on my 5th wheel RV. I installed it inside the front cargo compartment where the battery is so I can turn power off to the jacks when it’s in storage. I didn’t want anyone playing with the switch that located on the outside. It’s heavy duty and very easy to install. It does take a metric Allen wrench to tighten the lugs. Lot easier than pulling the fuse each time. Peace of mind

UPDATE: After contacting the seller I will receive a replacement unit. So I have to change my ratings to five star because of the prompt and courteous seller reply to my complaint. Thank you Seller!
This unit would not turn on in the horizontal position but would at about 45 degrees. Tonight it will not turn on or reset. It is frozen like it melted inside. Would not recommend this to others. The seller closed the return window so the seller knows it is a poor product; otherwise, they would warrant it for at least a year.

Works great and does it's job. My old fuse block was getting warm and some a nasty drop across it, about .7v lost across it. I tried wiggling, tightening, everything I could think of, but it was just tired so it was time to replace it.

Install was easy, there's negligible drop across it and my system is still happy.

I'm running an MRP-M1000 to a Sundown SA15 with a polk D4000 bridged to a pair of Hertz MPK165P.3s up front, and a tiny alpine 445u bridged to some cheap ID mids in the rear deck because I had a hole in midbass.

I could pop 150A fuses if I was right on the edge of clipping and had the rear fill turned up so I tried it with this and it tripped. Perfect!

I bought two of these breakers. one of them to run a winch and the other to run all the accessories both of them on my side by side. I’m not very impressed with them and would not purchase them again. After the first weekend of using both switches one of them completely quit working. The other one I Turn off when my side by side is being stored in the garage and I have to mess with it every time I try to turn it back on

Actually worked fine for about two months. Bought to setup my trolling motor as the previous owner had it wired straight to the battery. Had a bunch of rain lately and when I went out to get the boat ready for a trip, I noticed a lot of rust on the terminals. Tested the trolling motor just to be sure and sure enough the breaker will not complete the circuit. I guess it was too much to ask for a marine breaker to be waterproof?

I bought three of these 20A circuit breakers. I mounted all three in my camper van conversion but have only one circuit functional right now. The first unit that I had in my one working circuit did not work so had to swap it with one of the other units and that one does work. What was wrong with the faulty unit was that it stayed in a tripped position. I could not get it to reset. The third unit I have not tested yet in a circuit so don't know for sure if it is OK. I was able to send the one bad unit back to Amazon without any hassle other than the re-boxing and shipping it. I've read some other customer reviews who had similar problems with these. The quality is not the greatest but for the price, I took a chance. So far, I am undecided whether or not I would recommend buying these to others.
