I'm in a support group for people called "yellow canaries." The new breed of chemicals under the ingredient listing of "fragrance" on consumer products are like pure poison to us. We cannot even walk through an area such as a public laundry without wearing full tyvek suit, including full mask. We are always in search of products/methods to remove chemicals from clothing. Even sitting in a chair previously used by someone wearing clothing washed in scented laundry detergent can contaminate our clothing and sicken. I bought the Zorbx, hopeful, but prepared for disapointment. I'm happy to report that Zorbx does remove most odors. I've put Zorbx to some extreme tests - some unusual tests perhaps in that I use a public sauna to detox from toxic overload. Unfortunately, the sauna is public, and, used by "fragrant" women wearing body fragrance, and/or wearing the popular synthetic petroleum based fitness clothing and rubber athletic shoes - which off gas VOCs in the heat. I made up a solution of 50/50 Zorbx and water in a spray bottle and when the fragrant sauna users vacated, I misted the wood bench areas where they sat until the surface was lightly wet - and existed to allow the sauna to dry the sprayed surfaces. Zorbx worked on most of the fragrances/VOCs - not all. There are some laundry detergents and some body fragrances that are simply impossible for any "odor remover" to break down and eliminate. But - so far - Zorbx is the most successful product I've used for removing the fragrance chemicals that get embedded in porous materials. I'm thankful for it. It has allowed me to get more mileage out of my time at the fitness center. Before Zorbx, there was a lot more "lost" time due to my not being able to use the sauna because of the toxicity caused by the fragrance chemicals - many of them oil based - left behind and embedded in the wood. Now - I can spray down the wood and let Zorbx beat the poison back. In clothing - I've soaked a blouse that had a very stubborn chemical fragrance embedded in the fibers. I'd tried soaking in pure ammonia - for 1 week, then rinsing, then soaking in washing soda/baking soda, then soaking in vinegar - and still the blouse was toxic. I then found Zorbx on Amazon - bought it - soaked the blouse in straight Zorbx for 12 hours - hung it to dry. It worked. The blouse is now odor free. For normal people - Zorbx is 5 stars plus. For yellow canaries - Zorbx is 4 stars - only because of the wide diversity of chemicals used to produce syntheitic toxic fragrances in just about every product out there.

I am allergic to almost everything with fragrance (in particular Composite Mix 3, for those of you who also see a dermatologist for skin allergy testing). After renting houses and having my own washer and dryer for 16 years, I recently had to move into a condo (short for an apartment with a bunch of silly extra rules). My neighbors use horrible plugin air "fresheners" that make it smell like somebody has broken about 10 bottles of really cheap men's cologne, and they run them 24-hours a day, even though there are no personal things allowed in common areas like hallways (it is also where our mailbox is, adding extra fun to our days). My son got nosebleeds with clots just trying to get our mail. It's bad. And since they are not willing to accommodate my allergies in any way, or have a no fragrance in common areas policy (legal for them to do and almost no regulation on products with the generic "fragrance" ingredient, even in supposedly "unscented" items), we have to figure out how to survive with me constantly getting assaulted by this stuff. Since I do not have my own washer and dryer now, I have to wash my clothes in a dryer with people that are seriously addicted to fragrance. They use scented detergent, perfume additive balls (these things are evil), and then scented dryer sheets. I am still alive thanks to this product. No joke. My husband washes my clothes with a cup of this stuff and our unscented detergent. He then brings them up to the third floor and I dry them on folding laundry racks. We have put towels at the base of our door to keep the plugin assault away as best we can, but it permeates everything. The solution I have worked out is using Zorbx in the wash, hanging them to dry inside the living room, with fans blowing on them, sealing the door off with towels, running two air cleaners, and then hanging bamboo charcoal bags all about. And it works. So if you are severely allergic to fragrance please get this, but be careful when purchasing. The "Amazon Recommends" is for the half-gallon for $30. Do NOT get that one. There is a full gallon for $40. That's the one you want.

I have a pet household, 4 dogs, 3 cats and a bird. I was recommended this product by my daughter. I found it in Lowes Home Improvement store, but only in a small 3 size package. Was very glad to find it in gallon size at Amazon. I use it in my kitty litter box when I change the litter. Two or three times a week I will randomly spray the furniture, rugs & floors through out the house. I don't have to worry about the spray around the bird. It eliminates all the pet orders without covering up with a fragrance. I recently hired a new cleaning lady, and when she came to the house her first comment was "I thought you had dogs?". She was amazed that there was absolutely no pet order in my house. I really haven't compared it price wise to other products, as I don't think other products can do what ZORBX does.

I came across Zorbyx many years ago. I had a neighbor I always talked to who smoked. I would come home smelling like smoke.

Bought Zorbyx to see if it actually worked. Came home from my neighbors sprayed my clothes. Within seconds the smoke smell was gone. I literately presses my nose against my clothes when I smelled them.

I also have dogs and it also eliminates urine smell. Also use it in my cats litter box and chinchilla.
