ARCTIC Accelero Twin Turbo III Graphics Card Cooler with Backside Cooler for Efficient RAM, VRM Cooling and VGA Cooler DCACO-V820001-GBA01
Easy to install. Highly recommend getting the latest GEFORCE from geforce.com or Nvidia.com drivers and doing a clean install.
If you need a good upgrade but don't want to spend the money for ray tracing technology (which has very limited to no game support at this time) then this card is a no brainer to buy.
Update - The replacement died after a few months. The fan started making a rattling noise like a running hard drive, then just last night my PC would not boot. After running in safe mode, disabling and updating drivers, etc., I unplugged the video card and everything worked great. I put my gtx 960 back in and it's fine for now. I love the 1060 cards, but I'll never buy another Zotac.
Top international reviews
In Total War Warhammer, 1080p average:
570 ultra: 32fps
570 high: 41fps
570 medium: 67fps
570 low: 83fps
1660ti ultra: 65fps
1660ti low: 134fps
1660ti ran cooler and quieter than my 570, I would recommend as an upgrade to anyone on a 580 or lower (780ti, 970 etc).
What struck me was the size. It's really small. If you're worried that it won't fit into your case, don't. It will fit easily into a small form factor case. The noise levels are very quiet as are heat levels. There isn't a backing plate, but the AMP version has and thats ben oc'ed. I've read on a few sites that the zotac card got a higher oc, (manually) than its factory oc'ed conterparts.....
Overall this a superb card and great value. I'm experiencing no bottle necking at all. Even with my cpu which is quite old now.
16GB DDR3 Ram
2 x ssd
Still going strong. No performance issues with the card. As I said before. it depends on the optimization of the games. For instance, The Outer Worlds has some fps issues. But only because there are hardly amy graphics options and it really doesn't spread the load over the cpu and gpu. I'm still getting mostly 60 fps, but it dips badly to about 45 sometimes. It's not the card. I ended up capping it to 60 with Nvidea Inspector and its much better. Going to upgrading my mobo and cpu soon so hopefully that will help. I'm still very happy with this card.
It does get a little loud under load but it's kind of required to keep it cool
Could have done with 8GB RAM as the 1060 is about the same performance within 10% but I am still waiting to see the 1060 6GB drop in price
Over all for £250 it's definately good value for money
Core i5 2500K
128GB SSD boot drive + 2TB HDD for games
I tested some games on this hoping to have a good experience at 1080p resolution and I was blown away by the performance. Here are the games I tried at 1080p and their settings:
Batman: Arkham Knight - Everything Highest settings - locked 60 FPS
Just Cause 3 - High settings - locked 60 FPS
Left 4 Dead 2 - Highest - 100+ FPS
My surprise came when I tried all these games at 4K:
Batman AK: Medium to High settings - 50-60 FPS
Just Cause 3 - Medium - 20-60 FPS
Left 4 Dead 2 - Highest - 70+ FPS
So I settled on 1440p in the end and all the games above run fine on highest settings with locked 60 FPS (with the exception of Just Cause 3 which is poorly optimised in my opinion and scenes with big explosions cause the framerate to dip into the 40's).
The CPU in my machine is fairly old at this point but this card has given this PC a new lease of life. 1080p gaming with this card is no problem at all.
TL;DR - This isn't quite a 4K card (although it does a respectable job in newer games if you drop the graphics settings down a bit) but it will absolutely crunch through 1080p. I'm very impressed.
This card is relatively small and sits really nicely in my Mini ATX case at an ambient 38 C with an average of 68 C when gaming. I have not overclocked this card, nor do I plan on doing so. The games I have tried and benchmarked are as follows:
Tomb Raider: 89 FPS [Ultra Detail]
Fortnite: 120 FPS [Ultra]
Shadow of Mordor: 60 FPS (capped) [Ultra]
Skyrim: 60 FPS (capped) [Ultra]
I have not tried a title which it has yet to struggle with which is why this card gets 10/10 from me!
I switched from PS4 console gaming to PC gaming; and while you would think when capped at 60 FPS there is not much difference....you'd be wrong! The level of detail and smoothness of each game I've tried really isn't comparable. Not to mention Steam keys both on the official store and on partnering sites are SO much cheaper. I managed to pick up Shadow of Mordor GOTY for £2.69 [Jan 2019].

I am very glad I did.
For info, I'm running a ryzen 5 1500x, 16gb ddr4 3000 3000mhz ram on a solid state drive.
So far I have played Overwatch (epic settings, absolutely flawless gameplay with no frame drop) and bf1 on ultra, I'd initiate been a bit worried when I saw some comparison videos of bf1 on PS4 compared to this card and thiught I'd be underwhelmed. Not sure what the video was talking about as the difference is massive and aside from looking spectacular it also runs flawlessly. Very glad I purchased this card and waited a few weeks for delivery rather than cancelling to spend £50 more for a different card a week earlier.
Installation and setup painless and I'm now replaying Doom on ultra settings and loving it! Previously played Doom on Evga 660 2 GB and it crashed CONSTANTLY - clearly the card wasn't powerful enough for the game - no problems with this one!!
Also had problems running F12016 with the 660 - again lots of crashes. On the Zotac on max settings I've had no crashes so far! Can highly recommend this card!
Its really frustrating because i used to have a near silent rig, but as its passed the warranty i'm just left with this incredibly loud machine that is easily audible over films and can be heard even when using headphones.
I think that Zotacs quality control isn't up to scratch and from what i have read there are others with the same issue.
For this reason i recommend not purchasing a 1060 from Zotac, instead i would go for one from a different brand, even if they are more expensive.
I will not be purchasing a graphics card from Zotac again.
The card is dual slot but very short leaving lots of breathing room. Installation was a doddle and I'm getting 100fps at 1080p on Tomb Raider and the like on highest graphics.
Overclocking is easy with the provided software. It's not the quietest card but it's not too loud either.
It is very quiet and has amazing performance. It works fine in maximum settings in Battlefield Hardline and Battlefield 4.
I have not seen any stability issues.
Secondly, the promotional code didn't work. It says it was already in use. I have raised this with Nvidia, but their support is so lacking that I'll have better luck lactating a male hamster.
I'll certainly be adding this vendor to my blacklist.
