I upgraded from a Radeon 6770 and I'm really impressed with this card. I jumped in a couple of my games to see the difference, I have 8gig ram, SSD front end on Windows 10 pro and was able to play Star Wars Battlefront on Ultra and Fallout 4 on high with no sign of stutter or latency. Card itself is nicely built, looking forward to a good few years of solid gaming :)

Style Name: GTX 950 AMP!
ZOTAC usually tries to spit out the fastest graphics card in terms of speed and performance and so far, the GTX 950 AMP is one of the fastest 950 available. The other thing ZOTAC did was make a backplate available. This isn't a normal backplate, it wraparound to complete the look making it look like one unit which is awesome. Load temps hover around 72C and when the temps are under 60, the fans don't spin at all which is great because less noise is always better. Noise isn't really noticeable since I have my desktop near the floor and if you're a headset user, you won't notice it at all. Performance is near a 960 graphics card but you get it at a lower price point. The card itself is about 8.19" inches which is one of the smallest 950s available with dual fans. There are also single fan units if you need one for an ITX build. Overall a great card with good build quality, both the backplate and front are of metal so you really feel the build quality when you hold it in hand. Also with the gunmetal grey neutral colors, it'll go with any system. Too bad the card itself can't run off PCIe bus power alone.

This graphics card was a huge step up for me, since my previous card was over 5 years old. This type of review becomes obsolete quickly, but at the time I purchased this card, it was rated one of the best "bang for your buck" cards out there. I can play most games now with "high" or even "ultra" settings. The compact size on this makes it easy to install, even in a smaller case, and it's fairly quiet.

Haven't had this installed very long. Honestly I knew my Radeon HD 6750 was getting a little long in the tooth but I mostly play older games so it had not been much of an issue. Tried a newer game with a lot of stuttering and delay, and knew it was time. Buttery smooth on the 950. The card is relatively compact and doesn't require a super high-end power supply. Great budget/mid-range card.

Will update if anything changes.

I'm not a hardcore gamer so my last GPU was GTX550 Ti (yes I used it until recently).

Was waiting for the technology in GPU to upgrade so I get a better bang for buck for performance (a lot higher performance for cheaper than my own 550 Ti 5 years back) :P

And this GTX950 came out. The single fan model and two fan model was the same price so I got the 2 fan model (the factory overclock is only like 1% more so it probably doesn't push my GPU that hard). While I get a good cooling system.

But about the cooling system. This GPU doesn't turn the fans when it is mostly on idle at lower temps though. The heat sink is vertical instead of horizontal which means it vents into the system instead of out, but so far the temps are fine.

Works to play Shadow of Mordor on Linux on medium.

Debian Jessie users, you have to use stretch Nvidia backports in order for this card to work (the current Jessie Nvidia drivers works up to the 800 series).

Oh. Hey. So that's UHD. Wow. Install was a snap, got latest drivers in a few minutes. Haven't really stress tested it yet, too busy admiring every strand of hair. On the peoples. On the shows. Wow. I hope the hypnotic effect wears off eventually. I'm almost certain there are things that need doing. So pretty.

When I purchased this Zotac GTX 950, it was only $120, which made a phenomenal price to performance ratio.
This graphics card is best used for 1080p gaming, but may be able to churn out some 1440p if you don't mind 30 FPS.
Now for some real game benchmarks, all games are running at 1080p

Dead by daylight (high preset) - 33 FPS
Overwatch (epic preset) - 60 FPS
Smite (max preset) - 110 FPS
CSGO (max preset - 110 FPS

Other things to note about this card, include its noise, or lack thereof. The fan will not kick in until put under a heavy load, while it is playing more recent games. But older games and MOBA's are great for this card, as the fan will remain silent, while the card remains cool.

Overall this is a great entry card for people who are building a PC for the first time, upgrading an older PC, or just looking for a great economy card. And for $120, the quality can't be beat

Pros:
-As advertised - genuine 2gb GTX960
-Brand new, sealed, in-box and has all the additional cables and software included
-Performs 100% to published benchmarks which is to say it is an "entry level" for the Nvidia 960 series

Cons:
-As expected - it is HUGE! ... if you don't pay attention to the dimensions you will have a very difficult time installing and working around it
highly recommend that you have a full size tower or lots of space you're willing to forego
-Kills all 3 neighboring PCI slots because it covers them with its sheer girth
-Needs plenty of breathing space for the attached fans to do their duty

Overall - "highly recommend it" for the price point especially now when the GTX 1080 is pushing every other GTX price point down fast
