I installed the video card on both my GIGABYTE GA-H61M-DS2 and BIOSTAR P35D2-A7, and both of them could not recognize it. I sent in for RMA in 1/8/2014. On 1/27/2014, I received an email from Zotac "We have tested and inspected your video card and we are unable to duplicate the problem you experienced. All tests have pass in our testing bench and indicates the hardware is fully functional." What the heck?

Rafael Macias at ZOTAC RMA department said that they test it on a ZOTAC D2550-ITX WiFi Supreme, and everything works fine. So they sent it back without further testing on other motherboards, like one intel motherboard(as an industry standard) in a Dell computer. From the pictures of GPU-Z which he sent to me (under my request), it clearly shows that the video card works only at x1 PCIE, instead of x16 PCIE. Further looking in to the ZOTAC D2550-ITX motherboard, it has intel NM10 chipset and only supports x1 PCIE with a x16 PCIE slot. Do these Zotac guys know what you are doing? x1 PCIE only needs first 36 contacts of the pcie slot, and x16 pcie needs the full 164 contacts. [...] and this is a x16 PCIE card. Damn it!

The first priority of these guys is to try deny your RMA, instead of helping customer solve their problems. Their knowledge level is subpar. Give them some credit, at least the video card does work on some PCIE slot with slow speed. It is defective anyway.

My suggestion is that Good luck if it works for you. If it is not, it is a peace of waste.

I bought it because it had an HDMI port, so now I can route the audio and video through my AV receiver, so far, it is working quite well.
