Top Customer Reviews
I have bought many portable projectors, some where so bad they were returned the same day.
Main issues for me were lack of picture brightness, speaker too quiet and fan too loud.
This is a great portable projector and you will be very satisfied. Picture is bright and sharp. Sound is excellent for the size and, even when the fan is running, I am not aware if it.
The extra touch screen with android OS makes the unit all the more special as it works like any generic android device so sharing files is very simple.
Yes, the micro sd slot as a Sim Tray type slot is annoying but not massively as I use a usb micro sd adapter and at least it has one! The kickstand under the unit is a nice thought too, added with Keystone it is a great unit.
Update - still very happy.
This projector is a wonderful size. This is considered a Pico projector. It can be also considered a pocket projector. It is nice and small and is easily transported. This projector has so many different functions. When you turn on your projector, you will notice a screen on top. The screen actually functions very similar to an Android tablet. If you own an Android phone or any tablet produced by Android, you will be fine finding yourself around this particular projector. The projector offers many different features. The projector has Keystoning incorporated into it. What is keystoning? It is when you project your screen onto the wall and your projector will automatically fit in a perfect rectangular fit. You will not have a parallelogram that you are viewing, and you won't have to worry about messing with adjusting your projector, why?... Because your projector does it for you. This projector also has an automatic focus button. Everytime you go to adjust your projector, it will automatically focus. That feature is fantastic. With my other Pico projector I was constantly having to adjust the lens. You also have the option to use the app store. In the Android App Store there are so many applications you can add on to this projector. For instance, I happened to add my Netflix account to my projector. Now my children are happy watching Netflix directly from the projector itself. I don't have to hotwire anything to this projector and have a million different wires coming in and out of different boxes, just to project onto my wall. This projector also offers mirroring. You can use your device and cast whatever is on your device into the projector. This is excellent. It is great for any type of presentation. I was also able to connect my portable hard drive directly to this projector and promptly view any files I needed. Why? Because this projector happens to also have a media player incorporated into it, and if you don't like their media player, you can always add VLC media player from the App Store, which is what I did. I am able to view any Avi, MP4, MKV, and even Movs. You have HDMI capabilities to plug directly into any computer or DVD player. You also have a USB receiver. You can also add a memory card and a Micro SD. Did I mention you can also play games on this? Yes, you can actually download applications from the App Store and play games on this particular projector. I use it as a projector, because that's what its main focus is. The projector has JBL speakers incorporated. Although the JBL speakers are not significantly loud, this projector easily paired with my sound bar. Did I mention this also has Bluetooth capabilities? Well, it does. You can actually pair it with different items. This projector can also be used as a hotspot. When you're on the go and you are somewhere you can use it and hotspot off of it if you absolutely need it to. I believe you can also add data services to this projector. Mind you, I have only been two days into this projector, and these are some of the things that I have figured out on it. I am not some super programmer that knows how to figure out this complicated machine. I am just your average mom, who knows how to push buttons and read directions. It is actually quite simple to figure out this projector. I highly recommend this projector if you're looking for a excellent Pico projector. I originally was going to go with the ZTE one, but I decided to go ahead with the newest version being this one. I'm very happy that I made this purchase. This is well worth every penny I put into it. The ZTE customer support is excellent. They have answered any questions that I had . If you own a ZTE S pro2 , I suggest you write a review to let the world know how great these little projectors are. If you don't like your ZTE, just ship it to me.
The picture quality is excellent when projected and supports multiple inputs ( SD Card, HDMI, Thumb Drives etc), which makes it an all round delight to use. Although the native speakers are not bad, connecting it via blue tooth to your speaker system (I have a sound bar) will make it a proper cinema experience. The inbuilt Android interface gives you an additional benefit of downloading and running applications ( like Netflix, Youtube etc) straight off the device without you needing any additional wires and paraphernalia.
The only thing worth mentioning is that when I connected my laptop via HDMI with it, the picture quality had a bit of blurriness to it, this can be fixed by changing the laptop screen resolution ( SPro 2 supports 720p while my laptop is 1080p and above)
All in all, if you are looking for a portable device to have a cinema experience, this is it.
I notice the projector will flicker/Dim every now and then, it will get dim and then get a little brighter, sometimes go from cool to warm.
This really bugs me because this is a brand new projector.
Also, the autofocus doesn't seem to be responding anymore as it did the first few times I used it. I have to manually hit the plus & minus keys, whats up with that ? Could I have possibly gotten a defective one?
Contemplating exchanging this one for a new one.
