You can install a 240mm AIO cooler in this case with 10-15mins of work and rotary tool.
4 Stars
You can install a 240mm AIO cooler in this case with 10-15mins of work and rotary tool.
As the title says, you can install a 240mm AIO cooler in the front of this case, with a rotary tool, cutoff disc and a rotary tool sanding wheel.I have been using this case since Oct. 2022. This case is decent. It is lightweight, can hold a ATX motherboard, and also an Optical Drive (possibly 2 if you are mechanically inclined enough). I originally was using a 120mm AIO cooler on my i9 11900k CPU in this case. The 120mm cooler wasn't doing a great job at keeping the temps down (obviously) with the processor at it's normal settings, so I adjusted the settings so it wouldn't ramp up to get so hot. I had kept those setting for over a year with no issues. One day I was looking at the case and trying to think of how I to put a 240mm AIO cooler in it, because I had two case fans installed on the front of the case, behind the face of the case. I was reading other reviews and everyone said you can not put a bigger cooler in.Just recently I had issues with the motherboard, so I had to take everything out. I was looking at the case, then I realized you can put a 240mm cooler in it. All I had to do was cut the screen out inside the case. If you are a little mechanically inclined, and have the proper tools, you will have no issues cutting out the screen, sanding down the burrs and sharp edges. You can get this done in 10-15mins. But obviously you would want to do this with nothing installed in the case.By doing this, you can save yourself some money on having to by a different case for a bigger cooler. One other thing, if you have an optical drive that you want to install in the case, you may want to cut off the tabs on the side of the optical bay on the face of the case. When you go to put the front of the case back on with the drive installed, the tabs inside the optical bay on the face of the case will prevent you from getting the face back on, unless you take the drive out, put the front back on, then slide the drive through the optical slot, then hook the drive back up again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Inexpensive and Lightweight and just perfect for my build.
Reviewed in the United States on April 22, 2024
The case is inexpensive but sturdy, especially once you start mounting stuff in it.
Removing the metal punch-outs for Optical drive and Video Card requires in addition to pushing the with your fingers bending the metal with a pair of pliers and then using a small file (and a paper or tissue underneath to catch the filings) to remove the resulting sharp metal jagged edges.
There are about a dozen motherboard stand-offs included, which require a 3/16" or 5mm socket to screw into the case.
I used a flat tip medium size screwdriver to start to pry the front panel, after which it came off easily.
I removed two adjacent rear punch outs and also the thin section between them (which bent easily) to mount the double width video graphics card.
And of course using a small file (and a paper or tissue underneath to catch the filings) to remove the resulting sharp metal jagged edges.
I mounted a single 120mm fan blowing air in the front.
You have to mount the front panel and then insert the optical drive from the front, and then screw in the drive mounting screws.
Tight fit with the power supply and optical drive up top, and tucking in and using cable ties to secure the cables somewhat so they don't fall down or wind up hitting the CPU fan blades.
I took some pictures and captioned some of them to hopefully help other people see what could be involved in using this case.
I like that this inexpensive case has an option for mounting an optical drive. Some of use still use CDs and DVDs for software and video and music.
It took some time to get everything in and doesn't look the neatest, but the result is a small compact unit.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great case for a budget build
Reviewed in the United States on March 18, 2022
For the price, this case is worth buying. I put a micro ATX in it with a GTX 970. Ryzen 5 2600 with stock Wraith cooler. Mounted 3 hard drives to it, and it still has a lot of open space for the fans to move air through.

Like most products though, it has it's pros and cons. It seems like a lot of cons, but unless you are doing a serious high end professional build, those cons aren't game breaking, just things to consider as you plan your build.

Pros:
Great air flow. Seriously, put some quality fans in it and it will keep your system cool
Great price. If you are on a tight budget, this case will fit it.

Cons:
If you chose to water cool your CPU or GPU, you can only use a 120mm setup. There is no way to install a 240mm radiator on this case, not even in the front. You will need to use either the rear fan, or side panel fan to install your radiator (side panel fan may not have enough room, depending on placement of your GPU.
The openings for cable management need to be placed better. The motherboard covers a few of them, and the others just kind of sit out in the open and don't really offer you a lot of options to make it look clean. It took me over an hour on cable management and I'm ok with it, but I'm not proud of it.
The front fans MUST be installed first, or you will find yourself removing the GPU, and RAM at a minimumin order to get a screwdriver inside to screw the fans to the case.
The metal is thin and a bit flimsy. Don't try to force anything. Once it's together, it seems solid, but you could easily damage this if you aren't careful during the build.

EDIT: In regards to installing a 2x120mm Radiator on the front. My son informed me that if I removed the front panel, you could in theory, install it on the front. The downside would be that you can't put the front panel back on.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very basic case for low profile (stealthy) gaming builds.
Reviewed in the United States on November 12, 2023
Update: I’m posting a picture of exactly why I bought this case and of the fifth fan installed where the 5.25” bay is. I bought this handle in a four pack for about $15, it’s for play sets.

Original: I like this case more than I thought I would. First thing you should know is that you can fit a fifth fan behind where the 5.25 slot is, on the inside of the case. I highly recommend doing that to keep airflow optimized.

I will say that this is a very flimsy and lightweight case. Both would normally be cons, but for my purposes they really aren't.

I bought this case to build a gaming PC that I can easily transport. It has a solid top that I can attach a handle to. It's light weight helps keep it light weight, I know, shocking. Compared to my other gaming PC I recently built, this feels a bit lighter. I haven't weighted either but perhaps I will in the future.

Honestly, I like this case. I like the solid black panels, the OEM look it tends to have, and the mounting for a fan in the side cover. Although it is cheap feeling, with how thing the steel is, it's really easy to build in and pretty well thought out. The only cable management issue is the power supply cables have to be directly fed through a hole to the "back" side panel. Other than that it seems fine to me.

Although I do like this case, if you spend just $20-30 more you can get a better case. You should only buy this if you're on an extremely tight budget and need a case right now or if you want a low profile OEM looking build.
