I personally built dozens of pcs and zalman by far is the best water cooler in its price range. They are the easiest to install and they keep the cpu much cooler then any of the other coolers, also quieter. The only bad thing about zalman is they do not honor rebates, very shady company. Just a lil advice about other coolers..id stay away from corsair, bought 7 H60s, 2 died within a couple months and they ran the pc +10 hotter at max load. Antec is by far the most difficult to install, you need 3 hands to do it, dumbest design ive ever seen.

I purchased this cooler to cool my Phenom II 965 BE overclocked at 4ghz. I will also be using it to cool a FX8370 shortly. The 965 never got above 39C with this cooler at load. Overclocked it hit 51 after a ten minute CPU stress test with the vopltage at 1.5. Very nice cooler so far, will update when I test it against the FX3870.

Pro's
1) 3 models to choose from 310, 315 and 320 for varying radiator widths. Definate plus for those trying to squeeze every ounce of room out of an enthusiast mATX or ITX build.
2) Rivals Corsair's 120mm Coolers.
3) Highend looks, the CPU cooler adds to the bling facter.
4) Radiator dimensions well thought out. Fits most cases with a 120mm fan mount. I am using an Apevia Q-Pack3 which it was not listed as compatible but it works lika a dream.
5) Fan is quiet, even at load.

Negatives.
1) Cooler LED Blue only.
2) Pump shrouding is not solidly attached. Came loose when upacking, small issue, but an issue nonetheless.

Overall I would recommend this cooler, especially with expanded radiator options. The thicker the rad the better the cooling.

This little jewel is perfect for my needs. I used this in my new micro-ATX LAN build in BitFenix Micro ATX BFC-PRM-300-WWWKW-RP case, which if you have never tried to pack a gamer PC into a tight space, trust me it is a trick. This cooler will keep my APU quiet and safe and leaves me enough room above it to drop in my new micro-ITX R9 380. I recommend this for anyone that wants the added benefit of a liquid cooler without the space requirements of a dual unit. Aesome product.

I replaced a leaking ANTEC cooler that would adjust the fan speed according to the processor temperature. This Zalman doesn't have that control and increases speed as soon as I open a program (e-mail; browser). The fan noise is quite noticeable and irritating. The fan will speed oscillate up and down while doing routine, simple tasks.

The radiator is thicker than others in the price range (H50 through H75) and it looks great. The quality is just as high as others, and the Zalman Z on the pump lights up blue. I really wanted to keep it, but there is a faint clicking/crackling noise that was a dealbreaker for me since I have a very near silent computer.

I tried 2 of these and they both had the issue, so I went with a H75. Reportedly, this noise issue only occurs on early Asetek models.

Works great for my AMD 1045t, lowered temps by 20 degrees celsius, overclocked a little after, no hickups, great for starting with liquid cooling and budgedwise against great air coolers. Radiator is kinda big, so check sizes and spaces on your chasis before you buy.
