Seems to work
Carpenter ants.Mixed it with powered sugar and started putting it into various holes and openings throughout the house and along the sill, in the basement. It takes time to work (weeks). We have noticed a reduction in the carpenter ants in the house . Hopefully it's working where we cannot see.Cross my fingers...

This stuff can be mixed with powdered sugar, and sprinkled where ants look for food. I’ve literally seen them marching along, carrying little white specks back home with them. Woo-hoo! 1/4 boric acid to 3/4 powdered sugar is a good mix. Just put both in a little airtight container, and shake vigorously. Then sprinkle a little here and there, when it’s dry and you expect no rain. The ants will do the rest. (Don’t put it where pets or children might touch it though. It is poisonous, after all!)

I’ve not had much luck with other ant poisons and baits. This concoction seems to work better than anything else I’ve tried. Of course you have to be vigilant. Just because they’re gone one year doesn’t mean another colony won’t show up the next. But I’ve kept at it, and it does seem to work quite well. I don’t know if it works for red fire ants – I use a different poison for that, specifically designed for that kind of ant.

Some folks have told me it’s mean to poison vermin near my home. Oh brother! Go where you’re not supposed to, and take your chances. Besides, the Animal Kingdom is utterly brutal and unforgiving. Animals chase each other down all the time and eat each other, sometimes while still alive. Some insects breed their young inside other living insects. And those are just a couple of examples. Dying of poison seems tame compared to many alternatives.

you have to be patient to use this! Because keep in mind it doesn’t work overnight! Also DO sprinkle some of the powder lightly because if you do a whole thick layer of the powder the roaches aren’t going to want to walk over it. So far it’s been day 4 that I’ve spread the powder and I’ve seen dead roaches and I haven’t been seeing much.

Zap-A-Roach Boric Acid Powder Roach & Ant Killer - (2-Pack) 16 oz - Easy to Spread Ant and Cockroach Killer Indoor Home

I've been using the Zap-A-Roach Boric Acid Powder Roach & Ant Killer for a while now, and I must say it's been a game-changer in dealing with pesky roaches and ants around my home. This product is incredibly easy to use, and its effectiveness is quite impressive.

One thing that sets this product apart is its ease of application. The powder is finely milled, making it simple to spread around the areas where you've noticed insect activity. I didn't have to worry about making a mess, and it adhered well to surfaces.

What's great about this 2-pack is that it provides you with enough product to tackle multiple problem areas or use it over time. It's a cost-effective solution for long-term pest control.

I appreciate that this roach and ant killer is safe for indoor use, so I didn't have to evacuate my home during treatment. Plus, it's odorless, which is a huge plus for me. I didn't have to deal with any unpleasant chemical smells while using it.

In terms of effectiveness, the Zap-A-Roach Boric Acid Powder really delivered. Over a few weeks, I noticed a significant reduction in the number of roaches and ants in my home. It's a relief to finally have a product that works as advertised.

In conclusion, I highly recommend the Zap-A-Roach Boric Acid Powder Roach & Ant Killer. It's easy to use, cost-effective, safe for indoor use, and, most importantly, it gets the job done effectively. Say goodbye to those unwanted guests in your home with this fantastic product!

I bought this boric acid because it was in a squeeze bottle that I thought would work well - before I found that there are bellows type dusters available. The problem is that I couldn't get a consistent dusting when I squeezed the bottle. The bottle needs to be at a certain angle with a certain amount of powder in the tip - which isn't controllable. I would shake the bottle as recommended then squeeze it and would get a pouring rather than a dusting most of the time. You need a dusting so that the ants have no way to go but crawl through the dust rather than find a way around it.
I found that I needed a bellows powder duster to get a consistent thin coating of the boric acid which I purchased here on Amazon. The squeeze bottle type dusters aren't effective for boric acid powder.
The boric acid did get rid of the ants though. You just need to live for 5 days or so with it spread around the perimeter of your rooms.

This stuff works wonders, if you have pets like dogs and cats or children that like to crawl on the floor be extremely cautious. This should not be touched with bare hands and obviously not consumed. Placing this under the sinks in the kitchen and bathrooms as well as places like behind the fridge or near the water heater door at the bottom does amazing things for killing pesky bugs. No one likes ants, spiders, etc. but everyone hates roaches. They are disgusting and difficult to kill for good. This has gotten rid of my roach problem and I live in a complex. The ability for a product to do that when there are nasty and dirty tenants that bring bugs along with them that seem to infect every other unit. This will help, with good cleaning practices and never leaving a dish in the sink, trash always Taken out plus using protective measures like the yearly outside bug spray, replacing weather strips on your front/ back door, etc. you will be good to go.

I tried a professional exterminated, then gels, sprays, foggers, bait stations, glue traps, but my roach problem remained the same. I finally tried Zap A Roach and right away my roach problem improved dramatically. Hopefully they will be totally gone soon, but it is the best method I've found for getting rid of roaches. Easy to apply too.
