Editorial Reviews

"I hugely enjoyed reading this novel,I was constantly worried about the protagonists, I was anxious about theirwell-being, and I kept thinking: "oh, please, let this end well"....perhaps this is already the post-post-postmodern era, and it's possible againto write romantic-adventurous, let's-fight-for-the-truth stories - seriously, and entertainingly." Beatrix Turán, Books, My Ego and Entropy
"Atthe heart of the novel is a beautifully crafted love story made all the moreendearing for its seemingly mismatched protagonists...highly entertaining..."- Mary Bor, Curious Book Fans
"Once you start it you will be lost inPoland...Time will fly by and you will come back to earth a bit disoriented hoursafter you start will appeal to readers who love the more classictype of novel, where character development and location are a huge portion ofthe writing. Though this is a modern novel it reminded me of the feeling I hadreading Jane Eyre and Emma. I highly recommend this book." - CristinaGutierrez, Alaskan Book Café
"This is anenchanting book...exciting, sometimes heartbreaking, in some placesintellectually rigorous, idea-driven but with authentic characters and truesuspense. The main plot is believable, the suspense element in the story iswell designed. It is also quiteobvious that the Author became fascinated with individual rights and freedom inPolandand in other countries." - Krzysztof Węgrzecki, former deputy director ofthe United Nations Industrial Development Organization in Warsaw
"This looks and feels to me like a quality novel." - Harry Bingham, author and organizer of the York Festival of Writing
