UPDATE 5/28/18 old version I gave 4 stars & WERE THE PERFECT PEN
THIS IS THE REVIEW FOR NEW TRANSPARENT BLUE BARRELS WHICH THEY ARE STILL CALLING “CLEAR” which is MISLEADING/false description!!:
I just finished my last box which had CLEAR (NOT transparent blue), and still loved these pens. Now I’ve ordered and received 3 of these huge packs (for a new job where I will be handwriting many legal documents) and these new transparent blue barrels are all TERRIBLE!! They skip a lot and run periodically. I’m writing on legal documents therefore these problems have cost me extra time (which as a new employee does not help, to say the least). Each time one of these runs or skips I have to hand-write an affidavit of alteration for every single skip and run. This is also why gel & smearing pens won’t work for me. I’m at a loss! Please comment if you have suggestions on pens for me. I’d pay more if it meant no “errors”.
I still have one old version AMAZING CLEAR barrel (not transparent blue) and it is still THE PERFECT PEN!!! ZEBRA, why did you change this and please reply if you are paying attention???? Please tell me how to get the old CLEAR barrel pen or ink back??? What pen is a good replacement for the old clear barrels?? I need no smearing, no running, no skipping with a medium tip!! Any suggestions (I’d really appreciate your comments no matter who you are as I’m desperate for a good pen!)??
Old 4 star review: My favorite cheap pens for a great price!!! Smooth writing, no running, skipping or smearing, with more control than some ballpoints that are too lose for me and my writing to look decent. These work perfectly, don't break, and last a long time!! Thank you!!! I will only use Z-Grip ball point pens as long as you continue to make them, Zebra!!! (*****WHY DIDNT YOU LISTEN????)
Rating these a 4 because some of my co-workers do not like this cheap pen as well as their favorite cheap pen, so it is clearly not perfect for everyone.
