This book was more polished than the last one so you'll be able to zoom through it in no time. Short, to the point and not too expansive - bring on the sequels Mr. Trimble!
Zegin, the quick-thinking troubleshooter who saved the day in “Zegin’s Infection” is back again. In this tense, tightly-plotted race against time, he has to foil the bad guys (the human-hating Sareth), save a United Terranian Navy Command ship from almost-certain destruction, and get his beloved Rebecca to a place of safety. But time and his air supply are running out. Can he come up with a plan before it’s too late?
This is “hard” science fiction at its best, and should have particular appeal to computer programmers and troubleshooters. I’ll admit, I didn’t understand all the details, but there’s still a strong story to appeal to those of us with less technical expertise. Well done, Mr. Trimble. I’ll be watching for the next one—your teaser at the end of the book caught my interest.
