With a housing that measures only 3.82 inches wide by 3.62 inches tall, the Victory Compact 8x20 binocular fits easily in a shirt or jacket pocket, making it ideal for hiking, climbing, or sporting events. The binocular--which boasts a close focus distance of only 8.5 feet--is outfitted with an array of groundbreaking optical engineering touchstones, including phase-corrected Schmidt-Pechan roof prisms with dielectric mirror and LotuTec lens coatings. Combined, the optical advancements produce the brightest, sharpest, and most vivid images imaginable. At the same time, the binocular is extremely durable, with a robust housing reinforced with glass fibers and covered with an anti-slip rubber armoring. And all Victory binoculars feature individually adjustable twist-up eyecups for superior operating comfort. Other details include a nitrogen-filled, O-ring-sealed design that's fog-resistant and waterproof; an offset hinge that makes the binocular easy to adjust; and an easy-to-use focusing dial on the hinge.
The Victory Compact binocular is equipped with phase-corrected roof prisms and dielectric mirror coatings. Ground to perfection, Schmidt-Pechan roof prisms maximize acuity and light throughput while eliminating aberrations and distortions. This produces bright, high-contrast images, so you can clearly view everything from wildlife to the third-baseman in stunning detail. The lenses are also fully multicoated with Zeiss' legendary T* anti-reflective multicoating and LotuTec protective coating. T* multicoating increases light transmission while negating the negative effects of flare and glare. The LotuTec coating, meanwhile, helps the binocular excel in inclement weather. Like a lotus leaf, the LotuTec coating on the objective and ocular lenses repels water so efficiently that raindrops literally roll right off the glass. In addition, users can easily wipe the super-smooth lens surface clean of dirt and debris without smearing or damaging the optics. Even in the heaviest downpours, your lenses will remain free from water and dirt, so the view will be as impeccable as ever.

Top Customer Reviews
The Zeiss folds up nicely to carry and uses a single off center hinge, instead of two separate hinges. I find this to be much easier to use.
The focus knob is well placed for the right hand finger, but takes a little getting used to.
The case is a professional looking leather case with belt loop and magnetic closure. A soft leather case would have been a bit smaller, but the binocs are small enough to slip easily into a jacket pocket.
The field of view, 354 feet at 1000 yd is just a bit wider than other 20mm binocs.
I have had no problems with eye relief,
All in all, this is probably the best 8x20 available anywhere.
