Brighter - Deep into the night
The revolutionary light transmission of 95% and more enables hunting deep into the night. This unique experience is the result of an innovative optical design. It is the combination of extremely transparent Schott HT high transmission lens elements and the enhanced Zeiss T* multi-coating. This enables the Zeiss Victory HT products to set a new global standard for premium riflescopes. The bright, high-contrast images provide you with the extra few minutes you need on a hunt. After all, it is often the first or last light of the day that is vital for those magic hunting moments that will always remain in your memory.
More Ergonomic - Form follows intuition
The design of the Zeiss Victory HT line is based fully on intuitive and reliable operation. On binoculars, the convenient position of the focus wheel ensures ease of use and fatigue free focusing. It is conspicuously large and easy to reach in the bridge. This allows you to conveniently operate the focusing wheel – even while wearing gloves. Furthermore, the low weight of these binoculars transforms the 8 and 10x54 into a new class of night hunting binoculars.
More Elegant - Design based on tradition
The design of the Zeiss Dialyt in 1962 made binoculars immortal. The Zeiss Victory HT is now following in the footsteps of this Zeiss classic – with further exciting enhancements. It is a design revolution born of tradition.

I come from a swarovski bino and decided to try this new HT glass. Im really impressed in the amount of light they can gather. I really recommend this binoculars for low light situations, especially for hunting.
Update: I now have been able to compare the HT binos to the zeiss conquest 10x42. There is an outstanding difference in cloudy days and in low light situations. Much more bright, better contrast and sharpness. If you can afford the price difference go for the HT, it's worth every penny.
Binoculars are obviously different, but one can indeed see the attention to design and quality of manufacturing is thru out their product's line.
I own a small pocket monocular too, and was always impressed how well they performed.
However, these binoculars, are a whole new level, compared with Meade, Bushnell, Minox, Pentax and the cheap stuff one can get from EBay.
They are light for the size, and provide a clear and bright vision - almost a 3D effect when you focus on something close by with a lot of empty foreground behind.
Compared with a camera lens, I would say they are like a 400-500mm lens with a f/2.8 aperture
The black coating gets dirty very easy, but it's easy to clean, and remains bare-hands usable during very cold days.
The protective caps are a PITA - yes, they work well, and stay in place, but wish they were designed in a different way, and the supplied strap and protective pouch are effective - a major flaw is the monopod/tripod adapter. Expensive and cumbersome IMO.
Overall happy with it, and see no need to buy another set, unless ever find the need for something with more reach.
They are great for walking around and general use - a bit expensive, but they seem to be very well build, good enough to last a long time
Here I my honest review on these two binoculars:
Victory Ht wins hands down. Swarovski El is not nearly as bright. The colors are way better with Zeiss and that 3D pop gives you out of the world experience. People will tell you that there is very slight difference between the two as both are top notch products. But let me tell you compare these binoculars in the night the difference is very obvious!!!
I read online that swarovski has better sharpness but with my 20/20 vision I could not verify that.
Both products have outstanding build quality but Swarovski is a bit higher. Diopter and eye pieces are better in Swarovski.
Focus is easier to use with Zeiss and is faster than Swarovski.
Swarovski comes with way better accessories in the box. Zeiss case feels very cheap.
I called both the companies and as usual the reps did not know what they were saying. They had no tech knowledge about their own products. I could never get straight answers. Zeiss have really rude customer reps. Swarovski customer service is little better.
What did I end up with:
I bought Swarovski just because it is a proven product and Zeiss victory is relatively new. But I am not completely happy with my choice. I like the glass on Zeiss way better than Swarovski.
I will buy Zeiss victory in few years when the design is finally perfected and has proven track record.
