This sword is huge... as in, its hard to hold completely out straight in front of you. as for sword fighting, with your kids, friends, ect. its a little too tough, it doesnt feel too great when you get smacked with it. when you first feel it it honestly feels more like rubber then foam, which is both a good and a bad thing. i would deffinetly recommend it, just be careful

This sword isn't very detailed and it can get marked up pretty easily, but it's very sturdy and it's a lot safer than using a real metal (or wood) sword, particularly for kids or when there is going to be a lot of people near each other. Was great for Halloween with a Legend of Zelda "Link" costume.

I can't say enough about this sword! It's such a quality, dense foam - more substantial than Nerf swords or other mass-produced foam toys. The mold is spot-on. It makes a great gift for a Zelda fan, and for about $25 including shipping, I am very, very pleased.

This is a much nicer sword than I was expecting for the money. I was assuming it was a Nerf-type foam, and it's for a teenager's costume so that was fine. However, I got it and it's huge! Almost 4 feet long and a nice dense foam. The tip was slightly damaged, but I think that happened in shipping and it's not noticeable unless you are looking closely at it.

This is a great for cosplay. It's heavier than anything you'll find at a Halloween store, but if you smack something with it you're going to damage the foam. If you're a purist you can take this sword and paint it yourself to really get it to look like a Master Sword. I ran a 5K mud run with this baby dressed as Link, and I couldn't be more happy with it. At some point in the race I did break off part of the hilt, but it was to be expected considering the environment (running, climbing, jumping, sliding, falling, mud, chest deep water, etc). I received tons of compliments and tons of people took my picture.
The perfect accessory to this sword is the "Leather Belt for Zelda Sword."

This outer shell, which is paint, peels off like crazy. It was not worth the money. I tried to take off the made in China sticker, and it started peeling off the paint. Not worth the money. Cheaply made.

This sword was not meant for real boys to play with. Within the half hour the tip fell off and part of the handle. Far too expensive for the shabbiness of the workmanship. It is currently being held together with duct tape. Not at all happy. It is very handsome but not worth the money.

The only reason I gave this 4/5 instead of 5/5 is that I got it for my younger brother, and was expecting it to be rather flimsy. It has some kind of metal pole in the center making it hard and potentially harmful to children. The great thing about it is that if you are just looking for a good sword for Comic-Con or some such event this is your product. Its' great for cosplay. 4/5, because the foam was harder than advertised.
