I liked how the book is broken down into chapters--Zen, Illusion, Enlightenment, Mind, Not-Two--each of which is sub-divided into various topics, so it's easy to focus on a particular area and/or to find a relevant quote. The material is pulled from a great variety of sources. Here are some of the offerings:
"Life is suffering." ~The Buddha
"I believe in God, only I spell it Nature." ~Frank Lloyd Wright
"Knowing others is wisdom, knowing yourself is enlightenment." ~Lao Tzo
"The less effort, the faster and more powerful you will be." ~Bruce Lee
"Computers are useless. They can only give you answers." ~Pablo Picasso
Although I liked this book, the author seemed to be striving a little too hard to be lighthearted (e.g., including several quotes from Yogi Berra). For that reason, I didn't find it to be quite as helpful as I might have otherwise. Still, it actually does provide a nice overview to Zen Buddhism in a light way.
