Have a shower door instead of a shower curtain? This caddy is designed for you! Zenna Home’s Shower Door Caddy helps you create storage and convenience in your shower. The two large baskets can be repositioned on the ladder back to fit taller bottles. Because the caddy hangs on your shower door, your shower products can be placed out of the water stream. The caddy fits over a standard shower door with two metal hooks with non-scratch covers. The hooks attach to the sliding door rail instead of the shower door itself so the caddy will not interfere with the use of both sliding doors. The caddy also has two suction cups to hold it firmly to your shower door to prevent swaying. Caddy is 12 in W x 8.75 in D x 23 in H. Zenna Home by Zenith has a toll-free USA based Customer Service department which is available (800-892-3986) to answer any additional questions.

Rusted even with Rustoleum UPDATED

I took the advice of other people and coated it with clear Rustoleum before use, but it still ended up getting rusty and is leaving rust stains on my shower floor. I'm talking about the cheaper chrome one. The more expensive stainless steel one might not rust.

UPDATE: Get the stainless steel version. I did, and it doesn't rust at all.

A great shower caddy... if you rustproof it first

I was looking for a good shower caddy that could fit over the wall of our shower... I really liked this one because of the hooks on the other side that can be used for towels, bathrobes, etc. But a lot of folks had complained about how fast it got rusty. So before I assembled and used this product, I sprayed every piece with 3-4 light coats of Rustoleum clear coat rustproofing enamel. I let it dry for 24 hours, assembled the caddy (i.e., hung the shelves on the body of the shower caddy), and hung it in my shower. That was over two months ago, and it still looks as new as the day I got it!

I highly recommend this product (lots of room, looks very nice), but only if you can take the time to rustproof it first.

Perfect for me

I was getting tired of over the shower head models, and didn’t realize over the door models existed! (Yes, I live under a rock).
This is exactly the size I was looking for, two hanging hooks on the bottom, a bar soap area, and one upper shelf for smaller items. There is a razor loop on each side as well. I hang this on the metal frame of the glass enclosure of my shower. I have a narrow bit of glass beside the actual door, so I’m not hanging this exactly on the door. I don’t think this would be very stable on the actual door.
Since this rack is away from the actual shower spray, my items stay cleaner and have less hard water residue/soap scum on them (yuk). Since I’m short and don’t need or use top basket, I put in floral foam and made a flower arrangement in it so it’s cute and practical 😁😉
Based on the other reviews, I was planning to put on a spray paint clear coat. But after seeing this, it’s bright chrome! I painted the whole thing with a hammered metal finish spray paint that’s more brushed nickel color and a clear coat. It matches my hardware better.

Get the stainless steel one instead!

I rate this 1 star because it RUSTED after just a couple of months and I tried that trick a reviewer mentioned of spraying with several coats of clear Rustoleum. I wasted my money because I had to buy another one. I love the design though, so when I went looking for a new one I found this: Zenna Home E7803STBB, Over-the-Shower Door Caddy, Stainless Steel. Now why in the world isn't this listed as a different finish within THIS product page?! There are already two other finishes here and I wish the SS one wasn't listed as a completely separate product on Amazon. The one I just linked to is the exact same design and brand as this one that you're reading the review for but it's stainless steel and won't rust!

Great shower caddy that doesn't go over the showerhead!

I have been debating buying this shower caddy for about 3 months. My husband is 100% against shower caddies that hang over the shower head, and there aren't many that hang over the door. Our new house doesn't allow for many other choices, plus we needed something that would also look decent.

This shower caddy is perfect for what we needed. It does come in four pieces, the bottom soap holder can't be moved but the top two racks can move up or down as necessary which is great for value sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner. The racks also hold much more than I expected them to. I was able to get two value sized bottles in the bottom and still have room for more. Plus, I have about 7 smaller bottles in the top rack and still have room for more.

This is a great purchase and I wish I hadn't waited so long to order it. The only thing I would change on this product if I could would be to add a couple more inches to the top before the rungs and before the towel hooks. Overall this is a great length but when you consider that most shower doors are going to be significantly taller than the average person, you'll be reaching pretty high to get things from the top. This isn't an issue for us as we are both fairly tall, but I can see how it would be an issue for children or shorter adults.

You'll Lose Your Soap

First off this is suppose to hang over shower door, yet it's wide enough to hang over a regular door. It does not sit straight, so items placed in its baskets lean forward, to the point you think the items will fall out and hurt your foot or the container of Shampoo etc. will break/burst.
Even if you could 'dink with it' to force it straight, soap (even a new full sized bar) falls right through the wire sides, front, or bottom. I also bought a Mesh Shower Caddy, that is working great, nothing can fall out or through. There are several types of Shower Mesh caddies that can be applied in many different ways. I've uploaded a pic of the one I'm currently using.

HiNt: for everyone saying that it rusted. You have to coat it in anti rust clear spray paint. I've been using mine for 5 months and it still looks good with no rust or nasty stuff.
It holds alot and everything I need. Perfect investment for any shower. This is the best one for the price. Trust me I looked for hours. Buy this one with anti rust clear spray paint.

I read the reviews before purchasing and so I knew to first spray this with a clear coat of rustoleum. I sprayed it with a matt clear coat since I don't like it so shiny looking - looks great and I've had it for months now without rusting. It gets 4 stars because you need to spray paint it before use and because the suction cups don't hold and the razor holders need some improvement in my opinion.
