Quality, strong, sturdy, tight

To CLR619: My jack lowers to just under 3 3/4 inches. I have had it fit under an '01 Dyna Street Glide and '05 Dyna Lo Rider with ease. It is the lowest jack I have found and it is built very sturdily. Recheck your bike's clearance by actual measurement. You will get some added clearance by running the front wheel up on a piece of 1x6 or 2x6, also place same thickness under your stand. Good luck.

This sturdy jack is perfect for the very low clearance of my 650# Harley Dyna. I only lifted the front end but feel confident that the jack would easily support the entire bike. The manual lift operation is smooth and tight. I fixed a 4 x 4 length of wood to one of the extensions at the jack base and attached lashing straps which helped to stabilize the bike. (Additional lashing straps to ceiling of garage, too). Did not include rebber on the supporting surface so I cut up an old bicycle tube...works fine. A good purchase.

Works Well with Yamaha V Star 1300 Motorcycle

I wanted a lift that could lift the front end or back end of my bike. I don't need to lift both ends up at the same time. This lift does the job. Also, I wanted a lift that was not too wide, so that I could get clear and easier access to the oil drain plug and to the oil filter. This lift has a smaller width than the wide scissor jacks in this price class, and that's why I chose it over the wide ones.

Before buying this lift, I purchased a pivot lift -- one of those lifts that you use a lever to lift the bike up. When I tried to lift up my heavy (over 600 lbs) bike, the lever bent, much to my amazement, even though the pivot lift had V Star 1300 in the product description.

The V Star 1300's engine protrudes slightly below the chassis frame bars. Much has been written about how to deal with that while lifting the V Star. One recommendation was to use hockey pucks. So I bought cheap hockey pucks (4 for $11) and use two of them -- one for the left side and the other for the right side of the bike. I place each puck on top of the lift and right under the frame rails. That does the trick. There is enough clearance to place the lift under the bike and the hockey pucks on top of it.

My bike is too low to use the two extensions that come with the lift (colored black and shown in the picture), so they are useless for the V Star. That's OK, since I use the aforementioned hockey pucks. Also, another trick is the following: I went to Home Depot to get a small piece of lumber (a 4x6 by around 1 foot length). I slip that under my kickstand to level the bike, then I place the lift (and hockey pucks) under the bike. Then I crank away to lift the bike just high enough to have both wheels slightly touching (for work on the bike when I want to keep it level, such as oil change), or high enough so that either the front wheel or back wheel is slightly lifted, to do work on the forks, etc. My first job, and the first reason why I bought this lift, is to tighten down my steering nut.

I work in a busy multi-line motorcycle dealership and am always in need of the shop scissor jack, however it is the only one in the shop. I decided to buy one for myself but didn’t have the money to buy one like the shop’s scissor jack. I found the Zeny® 1100 LB Wide Deck Motorcycle Center Scissor Lift Jack and it had all the features I was looking for. Actually it looks identical to the shop scissor lift with the exception that the Zeny® 1100 LB Wide Deck Motorcycle Center Scissor Lift Jack is powder coated instead of painted. The Zeny® 1100 LB Wide Deck Motorcycle Center Scissor Lift Jack is stable to use and does not flex side to side. It is especially useful on the custom low-ride bikes that come in for tire changes. A regular jack usually is too tall or will slip on the underside of the frame or even worse, DROP THE BIKE! All in all, I don’t have anything bad to say about the Zeny® 1100 LB Wide Deck Motorcycle Center Scissor Lift Jack. It looks like a heavy duty scissor jack, it works like it should and the price was 1/7th the cost of the shop scissor lift.

Doubles as sewing machine lift

I don't own a motorcycle, but I do own a heavy Pfaff 130 sewing machine that I wanted to raise and lower in a large sewing table I was building. The sewing machine (~ 40 to 50lbs) is heavier than the 35 lb weight limit of Horn brand sewing machine power lift for sale on Amazon. I was able to get a half-inch socket adapter bit for my drill in order to use a 7/8" hex socket to raise and lower the lift quickly. Raises very quickly this way up through the cutout on my table to sit flush with table top!
My only "complaint" is that I couldnt find a lift with wider base that raised as high as this one. However, I was able to screw a 10" wide 3/4" piece of plywood with self tapping construction screws drilled up through the four holes in the platform. I then secured the sewing machine's flatbed wood base to the platform with small L brackets.

other wise it works well on my chopper and I have no other complaints. I do advise you dismantle it when it arrive and yu lub up the screw and rollers and pivots, makes it a lot easier to use !
I would have rated it higher if I had gotten an answer to my question about the rollers ?

This jack is perfect! I was looking for a truly low profile jack that I could use to lift the bike by myself. The handle is nice and short, so I can actually sit on the bike to hold it vertical and lean down to crank up the jack. My bike sits extra low, so I had to take off the extender arms, so I had to purchase a rubber adhesive mat to place on top.
