Zeo Headband Sensor Replacement

Let me preface this by saying, I love my Zeo; it is great for keeping track of sleep patterns! However, it recommends replacing the sensor headband after 3 months, which I did. (I now realize all you have to do is press the reset button and you can keep using the original sensor.) Unfortunately, the new headband sensor caused a lot of irritation on my forehead; I had 3 distinct red marks where the sensor was, and they only got worse with use. After a few days I opened a second replacement sensor and tried it, but only used it one night before discontinuing use altogether for about two weeks until the irritation fully cleared up. I just starting using the 2nd replacement again and have found it does cause a little irritation, but not nearly as much as the first replacement. Oddly, I never had any problems with the original sensor. Still think the zeo is a great product; but fair warning if after using your new sensor headband you wake up with 3 red squares on your forehead!

Zeo Replacement Headband Straps

The replacement headband straps and sensors are exactly like the original, no surprise. They arrive in individual foil pouches to retain their freshness until needed. I used the original strap for about 4 months and didn't notice any failure of performance, but decided to get some new ones to make sure I didn't get caught waiting a week for one to arrive in the mail if mine should fail. Also, a fresh new one for my wife for when she decides to give it a try. They're a bit expensive, but then what do I know about the technology required to transfer the sleep signals from my brain through the sensor pad and on to the Mother Zeo Machine?! NOTHING. So maybe it's not that expensive! It works. And these are exact replacements. So there ya go.

Wish there was a generic.

Sure enough, the problems I was having with my Zeo Bedside went away once I purchased replacement bands. Despite a temporary red-mark impression on my forehead every morning, my results are accurate and steady again. The main downside to this product is its lack of competition -- costs more than it should and without options.

Better than the original

I have found these to be better than the original headband that I got with my Zeo. Maybe I got a good batch. I have been using one for the past 2 months or so and it still looks brand new and feels comfortable. In contrast the headband that came with my Zeo was in tatters before the first month was out and constantly fell off. Another explanation is that maybe I am sleeping better now and so the headband does not wear as fast.

Zeo is one of the few reliable methods of measuring the quality of your sleep. The headband strap is a component part that needs regular replacing due to it becoming worn out over time. The headstraps are however very affordable and also reliable and I would therefore recommend them to anyone who uses the Zeo system regularly.

Better Than Original Headbands

These headbands are much better than the original. The foam padding on the original headbands used to disintegrate and get everywhere - but seems Zeo has fixed them on the new ones.

It is exactly as described, no surprises. This is a replacement headband, I did not need to use these yet as I am still using the original one that came with Zeo, but these are exactly like the original one and I did not have any problems with the original headband.

Works as intended

The headbands snap on fine and data is recorded. What else needs to be said? It's not like there's anything to observe besides 'it works like the previous headbands'.

My old one was worn out, and I couldn't successfully reset the Zeo machine, nor could I clean the old one to where it would read consistently. So I bought these. They work fine.
