Then, you won't have to ask some kid at an auto parts store, or some random Amazon-Answers dude, what kind of coolant to use.
If, in fact, your car needs G-05 chemistry, this stuff is probably what you want. $13 a gallon with free shipping is a fine deal.
You will also want a gallon of distilled water, available at your supermarket, to mix with the G-05 to get the correct freeze protection.
Be careful because in the stores the antifreeze/coolant bottles all claim that you can pour their stuff into "any" car, "any" color antifreeze/coolant. But the fine print says "only for short term topping up" and "must completely flush system and top up with fresh coolant" to preserve the anti-corrosion properties of the original fluid. So basically I read these and concluded that it was misleading.
This fluid is a correct replacement for the MOPAR fluid in my vehicle (2007 Jeep Commander Overland with 5.7L HEMI) and will not react with the existing fluid in the vehicle or compromise the long-term protection provided (100K miles between services).
I purchased a gallon of distilled water from a large retailer, and mixed up two gallons from this full strength gallon here. It was a slightly cheaper alternative to purchasing the pre-mixed 50/50 solution that is also offered. I made sure to tightly cap the two bottles and label them so they're not confused with windshield washer fluid or orange juice....
In original manual it says I have to use this type of coolant and apparently it should be better than green / blue one when it comes to rust and lasting.

The best price I've found. Use it for my Jeep. Much better value than 50/50 mixture. I use this and mix my own in an empty gallon bottle. Goes a long way.Published 8 days ago by Rod

Great product, just keep in mind to read the bottle, this is not premixed, you will need to dilute with water.Published 16 days ago by Antsinthepants

Works well for my 2007 Chrysler Crossfire. This coolant is clear, which is kind of interesting. I believe someone already did a coolant flush on my car, as it had the Blue Mercedes... Read morePublished 2 months ago by Patrick O.
This is right stuff to use when your vehicle recommends using HOAT based antifreeze. It is cheaper and just as good as the more expensive Mopar antifreeze. Read morePublished 2 months ago by Dan Perez
