Product Description

No ice needed with InnerCool Integrated cooling system coolers. The built in cooling system was compared to a regular cooler in the 6 can cooling version. A regular cooler and 6 can Zero Degrees InnerCool cooler were placed in a room at 72 degrees with six pre-chilled (40 degrees) soda cans inside. The temperature of the can was measured every hour for ten hours. The Zero Degrees cooler was consistently cooler by 10 degrees or more for over 10 hours staying close to the original 40 degree temperature. What makes InnerCool so cool is its specially engineered, extra layer of SuperCool gel. Your InnerCool cooler with the SuperCool gel layer can be frozen or refrigerated for awesome cooling power. The specially engineered layer allows the bag to be folded compactly and opened even when frozen. And InnerCool’s extra layer of SuperCool gel holds cold and keeps things colder, longer than other bag coolers.

I like the cooler but the only thing is my daughter wanted a red one and they said colors may vary that's another way of saying you get what we send and that's it.Eveyone should have a chance to select the color they want.

This cooler is more of a personal size lunch tote. It's well constructed and folds flat to fit in the freezer easily without taking up much space. Keep it in the freezer til ready to pack and it will keep food cold at least through the lunch hour or longer. Great for a few cans of soda or beer, but don't expect to fit a ton of food and drinks in it. It is nice that there's no need for ice which would really decrease the useable space.

This item was smaller than advertised. I could not get much in it. They must have really small 6-packs!

This item took up space in my freezer. And I had to remember to remove it early so that it could thaw enough for me to pack my lunch in it.

The worse part is that it did not stay cold for long. After eating room temperature, slightly melted cheese & liquidy pudding cups for 2 weeks, I finally went back to my old lunch cooler. It may be dirty beyond cleaning & lost a cell in the ice pack, but at least it won't make me sick with warmed food.

I don't use this cooler at the office to keep my lunch cold; there's a refrigerator for that. I use it when I'm doing field work and my regular cooler is full of water, etc. This cooler easily fits a full lunch for me consisting of a regular sandwich (sliced bread, not sub), a bag of chips, fruit, and if I choose a can of soda. There's no problem fitting all that into this. I do find that this is probably too big for a backpack unless you've got some monster pack that is really spacious. When not in use you can fold it up and it compacts to a fairly slim size for storage. Just put it in the freezer (folded) overnight and take it out in the morning, unfold it, and you're good to go. My experience with duration of the coolness is that in a warm or hot car, which is where I'm leaving it if I'm doing field work and I'm out of the car, it'll generally stay cool inside for 4-6 hours. Past that you shouldn't expect to feel any coolness when you reach inside and touch the sides. Your mileage my vary and it may last longer in cooler conditions. The strap cannot be lengthened, so if you're tall like me it's virtually useless. A good and cheap buy but I definitely would not recommend it for long trips.

I am a diabetic and needed to transport medicines on a recent trip to Australia. I purchased this cooler hoping that it would be able to last through the whole 16 hour flight. They didn't claim that it would last that long, so I added two ice packs. When we finally arrived in Sydney the ice packs were still mostly frozen and my medicines were safe. I would definitely recommend this to anyone contemplating a long trip with medicine that needs to remain chilled.

This cooler keeps contents cool for maybe and hour or two at most. Cool definately not cold. I wish someone had posted a feedback letting you know the description is misleading. I fill it with ice for it to keep the contents cold the gel packs are tiny and worthless after 2 hours out of the freezer.

Too bad, lesson learned for me, hopefully this helps others.

We got this cooler for my husband to take to work. He works in a shop that has no A/C so having plenty of cold drinks is very necessary. This cooler keeps his cans of pop cold for his entire work day. It works so well and easy...No having to worry about having ice or cold packs ready. just pop it in the freezer when he gets home in the evening and it is ready to go in the morning when he leaves.

I strongly disagree with reviews that say it does not stay cool very long. I used it to carry samples of kombucha, leaving it in the car all day long on a warm NYC day, removing a sample bottle or two at each stop (hence letting some of the chill out each time.) When I got home over 6 hours later, the remaining bottles were still chilled enough to drink them. It's great to not have to add ice that melts and creates a mess later or to have to add ice packs...although you could add thin ones for extra chill measure.

I did use a Built neoprene bottle tote inside to keep the bottles from banging around. It fits perfectly inside this cooler. Very secure and just the right size and weight for walking around with bottles.

Two things to keep in mind to maximize how long it stays cold- 1. Pre chill products. 2. Fill it completely to minimize voids of warmer air.

The worst thing about it is that the whole thing goes in the freezer (takes up appreciable space) but that's the reason you buy it.
