This is a great bang-for-your-buck product, in all respects. The zester is well balanced and that increases the ease of use. It feels good in my hand which is so important when working with something this sharp. I was well pleased with the price just for that but it comes with a safety glove and cleaning tool which l love. My expectations of the glove were quite low as good ones are quite expensive. How good can a freebie be? While not the best, it's a layer of protection needed with this inherently dangerous tool. The brush is no big deal. The cover could do with a re-design; it inexplicably has holes big enough to do damage. That rather defeats the point of a protective cover. If this rusts or dulls prematurely, l'll be sure to change this review.

As my title for this review reads, it's every bit as impressive as I first found it. I almost cannot believe that I found this product for the price it was listed, received it a day earlier than expected and I am just in love with the way it looks as well as the fact that it's practically a bundle deal.
The fact that it comes with a cleaning brush, its own case for storage (box and anti-bacterial case) as well as the cut resistant glove speaks volumes. Update: I have just used it to shred up several vegetables for part of the base of a hearty veggie stew that will feed me for the next week and a half. I have to say, the zester works as advertised since it's Keen razor edge made short work of zucchini,carrot,ginger and others that I put before it. Cleaning it was a breeze and I have every confidence in the case it came with. To top it all off, the glove did wonders in protecting my fingers as I went about my business. Shredding the chosen like hot blades through butter and not a single Nick on my fingers.

At last an easy way to zest!

I was struggling with using a regular cheese grater to zest citrus for recipes and was always frustrated at how hard it was and the limited results. I found this zester on Amazon and I love it, though I admit I've only used it once but am looking forward to using it again. It is indeed razor sharp, which made all the difference in scraping the zest off a lemon and an orange with great ease. I ended up with more zest than I knew what to do with, and it wasn't all saturated in the juice like it was when I tried to zest with a cheese grater. This tool is so special that I didn't want to keep it in the drawer and let it get bent or buried by the other utensils, so I hung it on a hook in my pantry. The cover is great and in light of how sharp this thing is, it's a necessity. I didn't use the glove and didn't feel like I needed it but probably would if I were doing cheese or zesting a lot of citrus. I only gave it a 4 on ease of cleaning because, after all, it IS a grater; the little brush saved me from using a sponge on it, which would have been a mess, I am sure. I didn't and won't put it in the dishwasher; it's too special for that kind of a beating. It arrived quickly and was extremely safely packaged. Totally worth it and highly recommended.

I use ginger root, lemon and lime zest almost every day. This tool is SO easy to use. I haven't used the glove but it's a nice option especially if I have my teen son help cook dinner! The snap on plastic cover is great for safety in the drawer. The little cleaning brush is nice, too. I clean it right away so it's easy to get the pieces out. My cat found the little brush and played with it a couple days until I found it in the living room! ha ha Recommend for Humans! Update: I have recently been cutting my fingers on my knives - too distracted and not holding my hands correctly - so I decided to get a safety glove - then I remembered that one came with this micro grater! I grabbed it out of the drawer and looked at it: Safety rating is 5 - Going to start wearing this immediately. I grate very slowly so I think that helps too!
