Note that this is a fairly low pitched cymbal. If you own any of the Armand-series cymbals this one will fit right in. It's also a good match for K and K Custom cymbals, either as a main ride or a far right one.
The main thing I love about this cymbal is it's truly a crash/ride. It's also easy to control. In fact, from a control perspective it handles like a medium heavy 20" more than a very thin 23". Despite its size you can play it very softly, even in an all acoustic setting, so it's the perfect jazz cymbal.
If you play a lot on your bell you may find the one on this particular model to be a bit anemic. Overall, it's not an especially loud cymbal for riding (but if you lay into it while crashing it will overwhelm!)
Bottom line: if you are looking for a ping type cymbal this is NOT what you want. However, if you want something that fits jazz, blues, 50s/60s rock this is worth checking out - in person if possible.
