Spend the extra money and get a Varidesk or similar. I wish I had.
Very cumbersome to move. Adjustment levers are also starting to stick already
I would not recommend this.

Before I purchased the device. I read a lot of the view on how it's hard to lift. And I wanna add to that yes it is. But there are a few reasons to it.
#1 This thing is SOLID AF. Out of everyone's standing desk (Apart from one where the entire desk lifts up). This is by far the most solid. Thicc metal frame compared to a lot of wood and plastic used by my comrades. It isn't super heavy per se but definitely would be a work out if you try to curl this thing multiple time. But I like it because I feel it's durable AF.
I actually had to saw two pieces of the keyboard tray out because my keyboard isn't that deep. It was hard to get through the wood.
As for it's hard to lift. So this thing is powered by air suspension. The piston looks remarkably like something out of a bicycle bump. Which I think it's clever, because if it breaks or something repair shouldn't too bad. Which I don't think it'll break any time soon.
When you are attempting to lift this thing. Because it's supported by a pivot system rather than scissor (where force go straight up) you are technically pushing this thing back, so some of your initial lifting forces are being directed away from you rather than up, AND you are sucking air into the piston / chamber that will provide support for it later.
But just like lifting a motorcycle or something heavy off the ground. The first ~30 degree takes a little bit of effort, but it's really easy after that point. Again, just because of the geometry of the design. Plus I kinda like it when it moves slightly away from you. Because when I'm sitting down (desk is down) I'm sitting farther away due to my ass being further behind on a chair. But when I stand up. I typically like to be a lot closer to the desk and having the monitor slighlty moves away from me keeps the same nice distance.
I was able to snatch this desk for 54 dollars canadian. I think somebody done messed up on the pricing. As days after my purchase this thing went up 300 dollars. But it currently supports a 27 inch 144hz fat gaming monitor and a 29 inch ultrawide. Mechanical keyboard/mouse+gaming head set + controller. It's sturdy durable. So I definitely consider a great buy even despite by significant discount.
Anyways. hope you all enjoy this desk as much as I did. It is also quite a bit bigger than most of my colleague's standing desk. So you should measure the dimension of your work station before purchaising.
