These bags hold more content and lie flat compared to the zipper top bags. Yes, the zipper tops are more convenient at times, but I switched back to these a few years back because of storage size. You get the occasional rouge box that the bags are hard to open, or one of the bands tears loose the first time you open it, but the same can be said for the zips to come off on the other bags.

I like that these bags don't leave my food tasting like plastic like a lot of generic plastic bags do. I get these in the gallon size, as well. For really large produce storage I buy a competitor's 2.5 gallon bags which only comes with a zip top, but those are really good bags, too!

These bags can also hold up to being cleaned and reused more than once.
