This tape is excellent! Just like someone stated (it's like a toned down prologo tape) I had the prologo tape and loved it, but the logos were a bit too much after a while...this tape feels much more durable than standard cork tape...zipp makes some very thin lightweight stuff and their tape keeps to that tradition, but I just need more padding on the areas of hand contact...so, I used my old cork tape, cut it into strips and lined the bar surface on the top of the curved bar and at the top where the shifters are...then I wrapped the zipp tape over it...came out very nice, very comfortable and not too bulky since the underneath cork tape is only on one side. I chose to use black electrical tape for the finishing tape it came with just because I wanted the "all black look". And remember that it does not come with those under the shifter strips...you will have to cut them out from the tape strap length, but there is already a predetermined length of un tacky tape (a strip of the tape where there is no adhesive) that will fit this purpose...I noticed that the tape length is kind of short so beware...it's a perfect length for my handle bar application but you may want to reconsider on stock handlebars or if you want the palm area of the bar to be covered.
it is, however, stretchy so it may be fine...Its basically the exact same material as the prologo tape and Ive used the prologo tape before for over a year without any problems...and it cleans very very easily. has great grip and a soft feel all in one...stays grippy even in the pouring rain (unlike lizard skins that actually get slippery when wet)...no pun intended for any bon jovi fan out there.
one huge recommendation to anyone wanting this tape...GET IT IN BLACK!!! forget white! the knurly grooves on this tape may become a nightmare to some collecting grime...but then again it is easy to clean with blue dawn soap!

I loved this bar tape so much, I ordered more for my aero bars to match. but I noticed the tape I put on a couple weeks earlier, was already not as white as the new stuff. and it wasnt dirt, it was turning pinkish. And this happened in less than a month. I'm assuming from oxidization, like the soles of old white shoes, as it is a really rubbery tape. It's such good tape though, I'm going to leave it until it's really bad, and order more in black, I think.

Love this bar tape. First time I've wrapped drop bars. Took me quite a few re-wraps and the tape stuck wonderfully every time. It's pretty thick, I couldn't see anyone double taping bars with this tape. Very cushiony, grippy, and comfortable. My only slight complaint, and it probably has not to do with my lever alignment but the SRAM shifter gets caught when braking and release after a second. I could probably adjust something to fix it or wrap the bar tape tighter in that area next time.

This tape is GREAT. It's basically prologo onetouch tape, but without the loud logos. It's stretchy and easy to wrap, grippy, and still soft to the touch. I hope it cleans up well, but it's looks great right now!

I really like this bar tape. It's slightly thicker than some others, and it has a nice grippy texture, but still cleans up easily. The silicone adhesive on the back sticks well, but can be unwound and repositioned if you make a mistake while wrapping

If I have any complaints, it's that folding and stuffing the edge into the bar end (with a plug) can be a little tricky because the tape is fairly thick. Oh, and the Zipp-logo finishing tape supplied is not really flexible or sticky enough to work well, but I prefer using 3M electrical tape to finish anyway.

Pros:
- nice feel
- good adhesive
- bar ends (plugs) included
- tape included
- logos helps wrapping, although it would help if the logos were closer to each other, so that you always see on

Cons:
- no hoods cover included (cut it yourself from the bar tape)
- short, you have to stretch it quite hard and ive "only" a 42cm bar
- rips easily when you do stretch it...
- not as grippy as the similar specialized hd tape.

Would I recommend it? it's ok, but I prefer the specialized hd tape, its longer, doesn't rip as easily, and grips better. Quite a few advantages if you ask me, for the exact same kind of bar tape.

Extremely easy to install, and so far I've had it installed for several months with almost no wear! This is on my commuter bike, which I ride a minimum of six miles every day. I like that it's comfortable, but feels a little more grippy and durable than common bar tapes.

4 stars for how the tape feels but 2 stars for durability. Tape ripped near the right hood during 1st race 1 week after taping the bars. Now left hood area is pretty deterioated as well. Had to retape after just a few months of use. Too bad b/c I really wanted to like this tape.
