My brother and I both suffered major injuries to our hands in a job related accident causing scar tissue growth and damage to blood flow. With the ability for our blood to keep our hands warm, we both suffered in cold weather and the use of thick gloves and/or electric heated gloves are too bulky to be practical.
We had both been using the disposable pocket packs and, while not bad products, just isn't economical for the amount we use. We now can get heat into our hands when we need it and keep on going. Charge it in the truck while we are driving, lasts throughout the day of using it when we need it and not just solidly leaving it on.
I recommend this to anyone with blood flow problems in their hands, great product!
takes more than 3.5 hours to charge and will only heat/warm for at most one hour. When turning on (holding the power button down for five seconds) the “blue lights” don’t actually show the charge. The device immediately starts to heat, blue lights move each time the power button is pressed giving me the idea that instead of showing charge status it rotates from low to med to high. The “green lights” do the exact thing leaving me to believe this device is faulty. Not worth the trouble of returning. Buyers be ware!

Takes a ridiculous amount of time to charge and at times my cell phone has even gotten hotter. I trusted Zippo for quite some time to put out quality products but these days the cheaper chinese knockoffs are a better buy.

If you filter the reviews to look at the most recent, you’ll see plenty of people saying that they received a hand warmer that didn’t work out of the box. The first one I received did nothing. When I plugged it, it didn’t charge. No lights came on. It was DOA out of the box, as quite a few others have reported.
I returned it and received the second one and it charged and works fine. It heats up quickly and is easy to hold in my hand. So beware that there are quality control issues with new units and hope that the one you receive works out of the box. If you do, you should enjoy the hand warmer!
Feels good in my medium-sized palm as well, though a little bit slippery so the strap that comes with it is highly recommended.
It can keep up with use outside of the pocket(where the heat generation isn't cumulative and is lost to the environment immediately), but don't expect much endurance there. It's best kept in a little bubble where the heat can percolate(under the shirt, in the pocket etc).
Where carrying gas-based hand warmers can be a flight hazard the lithium battery is here to stay in the airplane cabin, and you can easily pass this off as a power bank. Which it is.
My only gripe with this item is how it generates heat, it's not something I'm entirely familiar with. If it's anything like a 'controlled' method of thermal runaway, the problem that plagued the Samsung Note 7 a few years ago then I'd rather only use it in areas where I can get it as far away from me as possible in three seconds.
The first one I ordered was DOA. Wouldn’t charge, wouldn’t come on, etc. Was able to easily get a replacement from Amazon that worked like a champ. Got for my girlfriend as she has Raynauds Syndrome and this is handy for her to keep her fingers from freezing/going numb. It also doubles as a battery pack for on the go charging. My girlfriend loves it and says it works well as she uses it daily.
It has a nice solid feel to it and fits into your hand pretty well. The power behind it is only mediocre and can keep your hands warm if you hold it in your pocket. It loses the heat pretty quickly when you take it out into the open in -10c degree weather.
1.0 out of 5 starsCan not be charged after 8 months.

Purchased in Aug 2019, used for one month, then put it back to storage box. After 8 months, it does not work and cannot be charged. Still in warranty, but have to pay $25 for return postage from Australia and the US.
