For the money these led light can not be beat. I like how you can cut it so different lengths and is very flexible. I used these lights on my Hexa Copter so I can see it when I fly at night. Use can power these up with a 3s lipo and they are very bright. The only complaint is that the shelf adhesive dose not work too well. It was not really a problem for me because I used some zip ties to hold the lights down anyways.
It did not really matter to me that is was waterproof but I did like the fact that it had a clear rubber coating over all the lights. So now the lights are smooth unlike the non waterproof version and it does not catch on things or scratch me when the lights are mounted on my Hexa-Copter.
Even though the lights are covered with a protective rubbery layer, you still can cut it to different lengths. You can easily remove the waterproofing cover to solder new wire to the designated wiring spots
One last thing... i really like the color of the blue... but it kind of looks like a darkish almost purple blue. It looks very good at night.
