I purchased this to monitor a single entryway. When I bought this cloud service was included. I had to reach out to tech support to get it working. It was easy enough but took a day. The camera quality is good in the daytime, but the "night vision" is functionally non-existent. There's no discernible difference between night vision on and off. The IR light just is not strong enough.
I have never once gotten the door and window sensors to trigger. I'm wondering if the issue is my door---it has a slight rounding that makes a very minor gap between the door and the door frame. The sensor parts might have to be completely flush to trigger when they're apart. The idea is that if a sensor is triggered, the camera will immediately turn to look at the direction of the sensor. I've never actually managed to make this happen. In my case it's less important, but if you're looking for something to monitor multiple portals of entry, this won't do it.
The built in motion sensor, however, will trigger at the slightest change in light. Around sunrise and sunset you'll get a bunch of "motion alerts" that is just the sunlight level changing as the sun rises and sets. This means the motion sensor is nearly useless.
The microphone works pretty well.
On at least one occasion the camera disappeared from my app inexplicably and without warning or notification. I then had to re-install the product. The only reason I noticed was that I didn't get a motion alert for a while. It was easy to fix, but the camera wasn't taping and there wasn't any notification that the taping had ceased. To me, that invalidates it as a security tool. The point of continuous monitoring is that it is continuous. "Sorry Mr. Smith, we would've had video evidence of your burglar, but your camera hasn't been taping for over a week."
This is an economic solution, but not a great one. If you're protecting something important, invest in something a little more high-grade.
