Ideal for grilling steaks, chicken, fish, burgers, and vegetables indoors, this 1300-watt countertop appliance has a big, family-size grill surface of 12-1/2 by 9-1/4 inches coated with nonstick for low-fat cooking and easy cleaning. A variable heat control provides precise cooking temperatures, and the grill's handles and stylish, dark-gray plastic base stay cool during operation for safety. Another safety feature prevents the heat control, which provides power to the appliance, from being inserted unless the metal drip tray and cooking grid are in place and prevents the grid from being removed during operation. The appliance disassembles easily for cleaning, and the drip tray is dishwasher-safe. Overall, the unit measures 20-3/4 inches wide, 6-1/8 inches high, and 14 inches deep. --Fred Brack

This is the best indoor grill I've ever used. There's little to no smoke and I'm pretty sure the design, maybe something some might see as a downside, is why it works so well. Unlike the press type indoor grills, you can't put this one's cooking surface in the dishwasher. That's because the burner is built into the cooking surface. You don't have plates being removed, washed, put back in, snapping into place, trying to make good contact with the burner. It does take away that "ease" of being able to pop the trays out and putting them in the dishwasher but I've used it 4 times now and thanks to other reviews, it's not only the best indoor grill I've used, it's the easiest to clean. This is what you receive with this grill. A cooking surface that makes very good grill marks that has holes in it. The food sits flat on the surface and the grease just drips through. Underneath the cooking surface/burner, there's a metal tray that's the same size as the cooking surface. The excess grease drips down into it. Below the metal tray, a plastic base that if nothing else, helps stabilize everything. You put a sheet of foil in the drip tray, when you finish cooking, you can ball the foil up and throw it away. The only thing to clean is the cooking surface. One end has the receptacle that the thermostat plugs into. You keep that end angled up out of your warm water in a sink, take a brush or cloth and wipe it clean. I'm not kidding, it's that easy. How does it work?
I made 2 six ounce salmon pieces (1/2 inch thick) 3 times on it. I turned the dial on the thermostat to high, waited 3 minutes, it was ready. I cooked the salmon on high for 7 minutes, flipped each piece for another 7 minutes, it's done. Grill marks, flakiness, everything exactly like an outdoor grill. I will say you're not going to come from a charcoal or gas grill and say, "This tastes just like food from my gas/charcoal grill". It can't since it's not gas or charcoal but it tastes very good and the food is hot. My original plan was just to use it for my salmon. But the kids, for whatever reason, up and decided they wanted grilled hamburgers. I cooked 6 at a time, 12 total and it took less than 25 minutes to cook all 12. Grill marks, well done in the middle and the kids (possibly the pickiest eaters in the world) loved them. I ate 4.
I really can't believe how many times I've seen this grill on Amazon and skipped over it. Even better, it's forty dollars cheaper than I remember it being. I like it so much that I've figured out what I'm buying my brother-in-law for Christmas and might even buy a couple more as presents. I'm the friend/relative that buys you things that aren't exactly exciting but you'll be thanking me for the next year. I gave it 5 stars across the ratings. Easy to assemble is as easy as it can be. Easy to clean was already covered. And durability will take a year or more of use to determine but I see no reason for anything to go wrong. I could see the no-dishwasher part bothering some but when you see how easy it is to clean (excellent non-stick surface), you'll realize it's not that big of a trade off. Very happy with this though the salmon aren't.
I do not exagerate at all when I say these were the most juicy, tender, flavorful steaks we've ever eaten. I actually groaned with pleasure a couple of times when I ate them, that's how good they were.
The first thing I did when I got the grill was to wash it and rub olive oil on the surface to prevent sticking.
I had generously applied garlic salt and pepper to the steaks, and let them stand at room temperature for ten minutes before I put them on the grill. I had allowed the grill to heat up for fifteen minutes at high heat. I grilled the steaks on the first side for about ten minutes, and noticed that the top side of the meat had cooked, not just the bottom, and these were fairly thick steaks.
Then I turned them over and grilled the other side for about five minutes. I had purchased a deep aluminum foil roasting pan to use as a lid over the top of this to prevent grease splatters and hold in the heat but it wasn't necessary as it turned out. There were no grease splatters. And there was zero smoke.
I also cooked lobster tails, shrimp and corn on this at the same time. It was crowded on the grill with all this food and I would have to say, this is a two person grill if you are cooking a lot of various items as I did. It would easily hold about six medium sized rib eye steaks. But with my added corn, lobster tails and shrimp it came out to a nice two person banquet.
I tried to take the surface temperature of this after it was heated up with my digital thermometer and it read 350 degrees but that may have been the limit of my thermometer.
The char marks on the steaks were beautiful. They came out a perfect medium rare, moist and full of flavor. I couldn't figure out how they came out so amazing actually as it was almost better than some steaks I've had from a charcoal grill.
When I went to clean it, I saw that there was zero grease in the grease pan which I had carefully lined with foil. Oh, maybe about five drops to be as accurate as possible. It seems that all the grease and along with that the flavor had been completely sealed into the steak as it seared on the grill.
The lobster tails came out perfectly also. The meat was moist and tender on the inside and had that slighly browned, crisp outer surface that makes lobster tails so delicious. Ditto with the shrimp. The corn, which I had wrapped in foil and put on the grill with the steak, came out tender and perfectly cooked as well. The seafood was allowed about half the time on the grill, that the meat and corn was, about seven minutes.
I am thinking at this point that we don't need a gas grill or charcoal grill unless it's for parties. This will be all we will use for just our own meals, as it's that good.
Cleanup is easy. I hold the end of the grill where the electrical connection is at the top edge of the sink, while I spray the surface of it with hot water and pour some dishwashing detergent on it, and use my plastic long handled dish brush. The surface is non stick.
The grill top is a very heavy metal. The rest of the grill is comprised of a wide solid rigid plastic stand, and a light aluminum drip pan which fits under that grill surface. My only issue now is how to store this. Do I store it in the very large box it came in? That takes up too much room. Ideally, I would like some type of cloth cover that fits over this while it's on the shelf. For now I will just slip a plastic bag around it to store it.
This amazing grill is going to get a lot of frequent use around here. I can highly recommend this to anyone who wants to eat some great tasting grilled food. Now I'm off to search the internet for more grilling recipes!
Top reviews from other countries

It cooks very evenly and consistently across the entire grilling surface. The grill has a thermostat, which means that it only draws power when it heats the grill to the set temperature. It is also quite easy to clean.
But there are a number of things I don't like about this product. The first is its cheap and flimsy build quality. The plastic base and drip tray are very insubstantial and cheaply made. The power cord feels rather thin and cheap too, and I'm extra careful with it, hoping not to wear it out. The grill itself is also oriented 90 degrees from my previous grill, or from any average barbecue surface, for that matter. I had to get used to orienting my food with a quarter turn counterclockwise for this reason, and I've found that some grilling space is now wasted when food like sausages are cooked this way.
All these make me wish I had bought a different, cheaper grill. It turns out this one is roughly the same quality as those - it's just priced higher because of the brand name.
