Van Allen expresses not just the basic details but all the inner data needed to identify and respond to all known types of Zombie outbreaks. Moreover, you will finally know where it is all coming from and what the virus's game plan really is. I plan to carry this PSA everywhere on my Kindle, for as long as it takes. His commitment to this field is heroic, indeed. Strongly recommended- for your own survival!

Okay, this is probably really a 3 and a half, but come on. It's about surviving the Zombie Apocalypse - are your expectations really that high? Personally I found the information to be quite useful. If in fact, there is a Zombie Outbreak, the advice given isn't bad advice, and the book is written in such a straightforward, matter-of-fact way that at times I really believed that what Allen was saying was true! I went from being amused, to concerned, to entertained, to wondering if I really should start getting flu shots! I could have done without the rant on gun control. Agree or not, it was a bit out of place in the context of the book and what took pages to convey could easily have been done in a paragraph or two. I did wish that there were more "war scenes." Allen's description of his involvement with one of the minor zombie outbreaks was so vivid and real, you could tell this bit of fiction was written by someone who had experience and training, maybe not with zombies, but then again - you never know. All in all I thought it was a fast, funny read and for the most part, I really enjoyed it. Not for those who are easily offended. You know who you are.

So if you want a good laugh to see what a self centered person sounds like...get this book, it was free for me, if it costs money...I suggest to take that amount of money out of your wallet and burn it, you will have more entertainment out of it.

So the book has like 5 secs of good info, the rest is a bunch of poo from a bull. The author is very high on himself and turned the book into political statement. The book is full of made up, look at me, i want to be a hero statements. The author is either high or has some serious mental issues.

He plainly stated that he will kill anyone, and telling you to kill anyone you meet. He wants to be superior and he thinks he is the gift to everyone.

Only reason I finished the book was to satisfy my laugh.

I love everything and anything zombie related so I said why not.....So wrong about this selection......save yourself the pain.....

Guidelines on how to survive a zombie apocalypse (because zombies are real, goddamit) played straight, but with tongue stuck firmly in cheek. Plausible, even realistic scenarios from an actual Marine. No gung-ho bulldust.
