The infrared bulb does not work I had to buy another.
The UV bulb was not strong enough for a bearded dragon and the sand was too fine so it was a choking hazard also you need a digital thermometer not the strip thermometer this comes with.
pet shop wouldn't sell me a bearded dragon until I spent another £60 changed parts.
All vitamins not Included.
I have been advised this setup will only last two months until it's not big enough.

If you've never had a reptile before, make sure you do your research! This is a huge commitment and once the novelty wears off, you're stuck with it for years. Parents beware.... your charming child will be full of promises, but ultimately you'll be doing the poop clearing and feeding the reptile for 10-20 years!! Plus we didn't realise, you have to feed the hoppers/crickets as well!
You may not use everything in the kit, however at this price, it's probably still better that buying things individually. The tank itself is large enough for one bearded dragon, geko, etc, Our Bearded Dragon is now 8 months old and honestly we're considering a larger tank by the time it's 1 year old. By the time you have a log/basking tile, water and food trays, foliage, etc, etc, there won't be a great deal of room left for manoeuvre. Think about the reptile's tail length as well.
The only downside with this tank is that you have to slide the top forward to gain access. This means that it's got to be positioned low enough for you body to be further back and lean over the lid or at the side, to reach. This presents a problem, especially feeding, changing the water and trying not to let the hoppers jump everywhere! Plus the lights dome rests on the top of the lid and it pulls the wires as you slide the top. You may need to consider using something to put the lights on each time, otherwise you risk tipping and smashing the domes/lights.
We also added a surround to the back and one side as the lights reflect against the glass. Plus it adds a feature. (We also had to add a fluorescent tube).
Think about this as a starter kit for about 1 year. Overall, yes I would recommend it, but would prefer a front slide opening.
