Worked well with my ASRock Extreme 4 overclocked. Got this to support a new Asus 27" monitor which was 2560x1440. The stock Intel GPU could not drive that resolution. It took a bit to get the BIOS settings correct to get the card to show up during post, but once that was done, it is great. Having both HDMI and DVI (addition to RGB) has been a great. Overall great card. I went with this one due to NO FAN. I am not a gamer but do video editing and the cards has been good so far. I did not need any additional power and did not need to upgrade the power supply. I believe this is a very good midd-grade card.
I don't do games, 3D, or anything really demanding of a video card, so can't comment on what may be important to many people thinking of buying this. I bought it as a quiet (fan less) way to hook up three monitors in my recording studio and for that this was a low cost solution for my needs that works well.
This product went in without a hitch for my media PC. Dust Bunnies will have a hard time taking this guy down. Its a short quiet card with some guts to it and has no problems with a 4K TV. This is the card if you need quiet and powerful for playing media. Hope this helps!
ended up in a HTPC, does a suitable job, though I think more power would be useful for some of the full-screen movies and such. Seems to jitter a little bit with Linux as the O/S. Using proprietary Nvidia drivers... it's not enough issue for me to really complain thought.
I really like what it has done for my UHD Dell Monitor. Much sharper image and better color too. I actually bought this for my graphics program because of the 4GB memory The unit is being phased out for an upgraded model but it sure is not obsolete.
