Wheter you have your own media server or choose to stream (NAVI-X and openelec) this is the media box you want to buy, forget BOXEE Box and any networked media tank ever sold. This one plays everything with no hitching, stuttering, or framebreaks. Its only limitation is XBMC, and that is not much of a limitaion.
While I relegate this one to light duty in the office, it did get used in a pinch for my theater. Drove 1080p/24 on 130" without any issues. Keep in mind that this is an AMD chipset, so TrueHD/DTS-Master (lossless audio) in Linux (OpenELEC, XBMCbuntu) is a no-go.
Lastly, I originally ordered two of these, but one powered on once and died. Not a good sign, but I'll take it as a fluke.
Very pleased with the product and I look forward to starting it up and installing some good 'ole Ubuntu (I might dual-boot Windows on there too, but probably not)
Some of my colleagues had some problems with it, but the technical assistance solved their problems.
Not used the drivers form the CD. Download the newest from the ZOTAC website.
